The Dale — Restaurant in Town of Fallsburg

Ok, I am not one to leave reviews. And honestly, I never thought in a million years I would leave a review that included the words "located in Mountaindale NY."

Having said all of that.... lets get to the review....

I was blown away.

The food was great. The service was great, the environment and vibes were great. Nothing not to like. Honestly, I looked, couldn't find a thing that I could dislike. Not one thing!

The owner was super nice, hard working and determined. It made me happy to see such a srrong women who shows dedication to ownership and the end product. Her family must be super proud of her!

I would recommend this restaurant to any and all. I lived 5 miles from this location for 25 years... but only discovered it after moving to myrtle beach. 600 miles for a pizza? You bet. In a...

I heard of this nice little neighborhood bar, "The Dale" in Mountain Dale NY. I said to myself what do I have to lose ? So, From the outside of the bar I already felt welcomed by someone sitting outside and enjoying a drink, I was greeted with a nice "Welcome to this nice little gem" !! Hearing outside already the live music by a nice band accompanied by a great singer. Me ! Being Jewish ! I was hesitant wether I'll feel comfortable and accepted ! Well, We ended up sitting and enjoying every moment, literally, until the wee hours of the following morning. The owner ! Sara ! Was so welcoming and nice, that I felt right away as "Part of the little open hearted Community of hers. SARA !! it was nice getting to know your nice little diamond in the night Bar ! The reason I decided to write a review was because there was a male server walking around in a thong, and there were multiple children here trying to eat their food. In addition to that, they completely forgot my buddy's pizza and finally got the last pie out after everyone else had finished eating. Cigarette ashes on the tables, and they ran out of blood orange margaritas less than 2 hours after opening their doors for the day. Waitress spilled water on my mother's boyfriend, and last year when we were here they dropped my moms pizza on her lap. I wouldnt recommend bringing your kids to this establishment if you dont want them seeing borderline naked men, and expect your servers to forget about your orders and drop...
