Scoopers Ice Cream — Restaurant in Town of Farmington

Typically I would give 4/5 as the the scoops of ice cream are huge (adults only need a kid's scoop and you can still get 2 flavors) but it is cash only (I typically don't carry cash).

However this year with COVID and the lack of safety precautions by staff, my family will not be returning this summer. The staff did not wash their hands between parties, they did not wear gloves when scooping the ice cream so their skin made contact with the ice cream between each flavor we requested, they did not wear masks so potentially could contaminate the whole ice cream cooler. It was very uneasy to watch as numbers in the area are going up with the bars opening.

Scoopers has delicious ice cream. They have 20+ flavors at a time. The flavors they have each time changes so there are even more flavors. The usually have one sorbet and one sugar free option. The kid size is $3.50 but it's huge. Definitely enough to share. You can get a split scoop and try more than one flavor. They usually have 3 cookie flavors also as well as a brownie. And they're good. Not like some ice cream places where they're awful. They are a cash only business but they do have an ATM inside. My wife and I stumbled upon this place because we were in Waupaca for a wedding. We were there on the last weekend they were open in for the year. Prices were good then because they were dumping inventory. We've since come back to the chain of lakes with our boat and stopped there. Great selection but you could easily drop some money there. I suppose they are getting the money from the Fox Valley and all of the nice houses on the lake. We didn't buy then because it was hard to justify the cost when we've been to places like the Windmill in Tomahawk. That place gives so much ice cream for a lot less. Scoopers is nice, just too expensive...
