We stopped in for supper this evening. I ordered meatball sandwich. It was average tasting at best. The sauce was not so good. One of the kids ordered chef salad and it was ok. One of the adults had an order of chicken Alfredo and it was ok. Where I am really having a problem is ordering spaghetti and meatballs for an 8 year old and it cost $15.50. I was not aware of the cost until I got the bill. I let the kids order what they wanted for themselves. Fifteen dollars and fifty cents for a plate of spaghetti and 2 or 3 meatballs is absolutely insanely overpriced food. With one fountain drink and a glass of milk our bill was $58.56. This did not include the tip either. I hardly think I will hurry back anytime soon. Not very impressed at all. Actually we were very disappointed.

Great place for a sandwich and of course their pizza! Started out our Saturday with a specialty drink Strawberry Wheelhouse Julep (see pic) served in a copper mug with fresh mint garnish. I had a sausage pizza, amazing! The grated Parmesan cheese and pepper flakes were so good, and the containers they come in were quite new and clean (unlike some other establishments)! Friends enjoyed the Ruben sandwich and the Cajun catfish sandwich. All of us gave our food two thumbs up! Our server was very attentive and we didn’t feel rushed to turn over our table on a busy evening.

The pizza was fabulous... we were with a group of 8... and were promptly seated with room to spare. Our wait staff was knowledgeable and had great suggestions. The pizza crust was not the focus of this pizza (to my happy surprise) And the toppings were overflowing. The pizza was cut into squares... so not all slices had a portion of the outside crust... just piles if toppings. They were open for social Distanced dine in seating... much appreciated! You will love seeing this little tourist town and its lakes. If you make it there, definitely East at the Wheel House.

We went to the wheelhouse our first night on vacation last Sunday August 15th after a lot of recommendations to try their pizza. Our waitress was very nice but when we handed her our card to pay she charged us someone else’s bill. Our bill was around $23 ( we got a medium pizza, a soda and a beer) and she charged us around $75 which was another tables bill. When I brought this to her attention, she said the money should go back into our account in a few days and rang up our bill. Not only did it NOT go back into our account, I had to call my bank who said they need to send paper work and dispute/investigate until we can get our money back. Luckily, I kept the receipt to our bill. We still got charged for our meal in the end and someone else’s. This has been stressful and we are very mad. We lost out on money for our vacation and still have yet to receive our money back. I do not...

Not a lot of choices. They would not even let me pay and order veggies on the side. Not sure if that's because they are limited for the prime rib meals only. However there should be some options other than chips. They don't even have fries or a veggie side. Straight up told me no, I couldn't have veggies even if I paid for it. My French dip was decent. Coleslaw decent but I don't plan on going back because I'm a person who loves options, which they refuse to do or alter. Oh well, glad I tried it. They also don't have many "dinner" options. Mostly sandwich type. If they increase their options in the future I would...
