The best place to get BREAKFAST anywhere around here! I just wish they had scalloped potatoes 😂 Great prices, always very quick & friendly service. Stopped at Barb's Cafe at around 2:00 PM on the 4th of July to grab a bite to eat while driving from Duluth to Manistique. Was greeted by the friendliest of smiles, excellent service, and phenomenal value for the food. The deluxe burger with bacon on ciabatta was perfectly cooked and tasty. My fiancé got an omelette that was HUGE and delicious as well. Before we finished eating the server brought us a to go box for my fiancé's muffin and offered to fill out water bottles with no complaints. Our favorite place by far! We are from Kingsford,MI and the extra drive is well worth it. The staff, food, atmosphere, and service are the best around. The corned beef hash is to die for, and can not be matched anywhere. We always have a good experience at Barbs. Seating may be tight, but they accommodate extremely well, even when we bring our large family. Personal cups for each of our kids, with bendy straws, means smiles all around.
