Bill Gray's Gates — Restaurant in Town of Gates

My name is Austin and tonight I took my girlfriend to this bill grays after she had a long shift and I wanted to treat her to ice cream. Now I realized they closed at 9 so we got there 10 minutes before. As we walked in the employees Iooked at us in shock for some reason. We weгe greeted by no oпe and were standing iп line for well over 5 miпutes befoгe some very гude employee iп a yellow ish uпiform peaked out the door to what I'm assuming is the back room/kitchen and shouted we're closed. Aпd went away. I've neveг had aпy problems with this bill grays aпd I usually eпjoy my stay. This just changed my whole opinioп on this specific restaurant and I will from пow on take my business elsewhere. It was the fact of the rudeness of the employees and the fact that they did not go out of their way to ask us what we even wanted. Or even told us the kitchen is closed and that they can't seгve us. Now heгe's a hint. A wise maп once said to "Give the customer the pickle.'Meaning to go out of your way to satisfy them. Maybe even making their day. All I really wanted was some great customer service and that was пot given to me. I'm very disappointed to give 2 stars. Youг better than this.

At Bill Gray’s in Gates, the food truly impressed us, even if the prices gave us pause. My wife and I both ordered the fish fry, and it turned out to be one of the best we’ve had — crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Definitely memorable, though also among the most expensive fish fry dinners we’ve ever had.

Our son chose a double cheeseburger, and he couldn’t stop raving about it. Juicy, stacked high, and absolutely delicious — exactly what a burger should be. Like the fish fry, though, it leaned toward the pricey side for a casual meal.

On the bright side, service was very quick. We barely had to wait, and the food came out hot and fresh, which made the experience even better. The staff kept things moving smoothly despite the busy atmosphere.

The only drawback here is really the cost. Dining alone, it wouldn’t be too bad, but as a family the bill adds up quickly. Still, the quality of the food makes it easier to justify now and then.

Bottom line: Bill Gray’s delivers fantastic flavor — from fish fry to burgers — with short wait times and well-prepared meals. Just be prepared for your wallet to feel it if you’re feeding more than one. A...

Easy to order - complex instructions (Steak plate, double Mac, heavy everything, hold the ketchup, and relish) = x2. Order the same thing every time... add in some other sides...

7 times out of 10... the entire order is all over the place, in the box! Leaks thru the box...

you'd think that going thru the covid years they'd update something as simple as this...

Ya know, They do have "green" packaging to prevent a complete disaster/mess post transport.. AND the box doesn't exactly hold in leaks...

Long story short, if ordering a "plate" for take out... don't make any sharp turns, accelerate fast, or brake hard...

Food is great... prolly why I keep going back.
