We really wanted to love this place based on reviews but it just barely skated past a mediocre experience. Heads up, there are 2 entrances: 1 to the bar and one to the restaurant. We entered by way of bar and had to dodge a dart game in progress. We visited on Labor Day weekend and there was only 1 waiter...really. He was good but seriously get the guy some help. At least 15 minutes for 1st Guinness, which was thankfully very well poured, then 15 more minutes to order, then at least 25 more to get meals. For starters we were served a bread basket with 2 slices each soda bread and rye salt bread, & softened butter, both breads delicious. Then came soup (option was salad); we both picked the shrimp and corn bisque which came with a shot of creme sherry on the side to add if we wanted, which we did. It was absolutely divine and the highlight of the meal. For main meals, I got bangers and mash ($12) and my husband got shepherd's pie ($12). My sausage was great but the sauce was too sweet and the mashed potatoes were dry. Husband's pie had no gravy which I tend to expect with this dish, so it was dry also. Prices were great and though neither meal was horrible, they were nothing I'd want again or recommend. Family atmosphere in the...

🍀 Great service, great food, great dining room. And Wonderful, traditional, Irish music playing on the Pub speakers and in the dining room. The Staff could use more help. For St. Patrick’s Day weekend, our poor waitress was on her own a lot, in a large room of customers. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful. Funny note: the restaurant ran out of forks, so our table eating delicious shepherds pie And fish fry offered to give up our forks, as our spoons were sufficient. All in all it was a fun and delicious meal, and we went to the pub for drinks afterward. We all agreed, The pub should turn off television. Nobody seems to be watching at all. And remove the giant Jenga game (for yard play) off of the table so customers can find seating. Otherwise service and Staff, drinks and dessert were great. Later in the evening, A few of the karaoke singers were quite entertaining. But the sweet bartender could have used more help. She did an amazing job like the waitresses in the dining room, but she definitely needs more help on a holiday weekend. I don’t know how they keep up, somehow they did an amazing job. We will be back but we may gift Foley’s a box of forks, and big tips for the waitress in the dining room and bartender in...

Myself and 4 of my girlfriends came to Lake Geneva for a girls weekend. We didn't know anything about the area and through Google search we found this bar. We asked our waitress where we ate dinner about this bar and our Uber driver who both said this place was "Ratchety" we are from small town WI and love the small bar scene so we were excited to go here. Everything was going great until the Karaoke DJ completely disrespected our group by saying "the next song is by wally(a local gentleman that requested my friend to sing with him) and what's her name" referring to my friend. We were baffled and honestly kind of shocked that she was referred to as "what's her name". The bartender was very nice and maybe if we went on a different night we would've had a better experience but tonight we did not feel welcome by the locals. I would have given this establishment a 1 star but due to the bartender being friendly I...

Foleys Irish Bar and Grill is a fun place to go. Lots of lively customers, cozy energetic atmosphere?, dart boards, Karyokee. Evenat 5pm on Friday, very busy. I had pork chops, my husband had Fish Fry. I really liked my dinner; he was not. Thrilled with Fish Fry. I would definitely go again.
