I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lakeside Pub, and I can confidently say it’s a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The food? Absolutely delicious! Each dish was bursting with flavor, and you can tell they use fresh, quality ingredients.

One of the highlights of my visit was the stunning view of the lake. Watching the sunset while enjoying my meal was truly magical. The dining room, which is screened in, offers a cozy yet elegant vibe, perfect for both casual meals and private parties. I can only imagine how lovely it must be to host an event there with those breathtaking views!

We had a lovely dining experience at this restaurant, starting with being seated by a window with a beautiful view of Lake Como—such a peaceful and scenic backdrop for a meal. The windows appeared to be large sliding garage-style doors that likely open during cooler weather. What a fun experience that must be when the breeze comes through!

The menu was diverse with something for everyone, and I went with the salmon, which was absolutely delicious. They also had a creative and fun drink menu featuring mocktails, dirty sodas, and ice cream drinks. I tried the Purple Haze, a dirty soda, and it was so good! We were too full to try the ice cream drinks, but the flavors were so unique—we definitely wished we had saved room.

The only downside was the service. It seemed there was just one person working as both host and server, and while they were clearly doing their best, things were a bit slow. Our first visit will DEFINITELY not be our last. We arrived a little after six on a Friday night (prime time). Was told it would be a 30 minute wait for a table. We were seated in 20 minutes. Our waitress was the perfect blend of fast, friendly, efficient but did not hover. I had the fish fry , my husband had the brisket grilled cheese. For sure my new favorite place for fish. The breading on the fish was crispy and super well seasoned, didn’t even feel compelled to put tartar sauce on every bite. The potato pancakes are worth the trip alone, fantastic. My husband’s sandwich was awesome as well. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked very good. Definitely got the impression no matter what you order you will not be disappointed.
