Papa’s Blue Spruce Resort — Restaurant in Town of Geneva

This is a place we discovered as we were going to another pub, but there was so many people that there was a much longer time to get a table never wanna wait more than 30 minutes for a table. So on our way out of the area, we noticed Papa‘s and went in and were fortunate to be seated immediately. Apparently, we got there at the right time because within a very short time, the place was packed and for good reason. The staff are all very friendly. We had the chick bites for a starter and they were delicious also had their specialty burger and all day egg sandwich which you can add a burger patty to. We both agreed that these may be some of the best sandwiches that we’ve had at any pub. Also, our server was extremely efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I was also impressed by the young man who was a food runner and how hospitable he was, and I predicted to my wife Mary, that this young man will probably be president of a hotel restaurant company in the future. also, the bartender made a very good margarita and poured a good bourbon...

Great food in a wonderful location! We'll definitely be coming back!! Thanks!! Update May 25, 2024. Food was good, but arrived cold (lukewarm).. Everyone's was. The waitress said she didn't know how because the order window is narrow...well, then then someone had it set aside for a long time! The family next to us arrived like 25 minutes after us but got their food at the same time! So either ours was sitting longer than theirs, or they waited to cook ours till the same time as theirs. Since they were busy, I'm pretty sure it was the former. Nice evening and outdoor atmosphere though. The waitress gave us a couple tokens for a couple beers next time, but for just over $100 and everyone's food was lukewarm, (not ice cold), it was little consolation. Had to knock off a star...

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. Finding quality vegan options in the area can be tough, but this place had multiple delicious choices—each one better than the last!

Our waitress, Taylor, was incredibly helpful and well-informed. She took the time to go over the menu with us and made some great recommendations.

The food was not only reasonably priced, but the portions were generous too. You can tell everything is made from scratch—nothing tasted frozen or pre-packaged. From the fresh ingredients to the warm service, everything about our experience felt authentic and thoughtful.
