My husband and I were in Pizza Ranch Thursday June 10 late in the afternoon. There was a young man behind the register that greeted us when we came in. He was the absolute nicest person not only to us but EVERYONE. Shortly after we sat at our table and elderly man and his wife came in. The man was in a wheelchair and was wearing a veterans hat. The young gentleman behind the register came around and shook this vets hand and thanked him for his service. And seeing that he was in a wheelchair offered to plate his food for him at the buffet and bring it to his table for him. I sat and watched this young man and was so impressed with his kindness it bought tears to my eyes. My husband asked me what was wrong. This young gentleman has no idea what a wonderful impression he made on me and my husband. We talked about him all the way back home. With so much hate in this world he truly restored my confidence that there are good loving considerate people in out there that do care and treat people as they would want to be treated. Thank you to this young man. I tried to find him before we left to personally thank him myself and give him a big hug for being such a great guy and going above and beyond I'm sure of what the job calls for. Pizza Ranch I have no idea where you found this young man but I hope you realize what a gem you have for an employee. I hope this young man is able to read this review and know it is him. You have a very bright future ahead of you and you will go far in life. Just one last thing, I never ever leave a review on a company website. But this time I just had to. He made such a great impression on me I had to let the company know. Thank you Pizza Ranch because of this employee we will for sure be coming back. The food was great but the employee exceeded all my expectations and...
Read moreTook my family as this one is closer to home and we love pizza ranch. It was 6:45 p.m.. when we walked in. The building gives off a old country kitchen resteraunt, 90s kids will remember, vibe when you walk in. It has a big game room with an ok assortment of games. However that is where the positives end.
Again it was 6:45 p.m. when we walked in. We were immediately told that they shut down the buffet at 7:30p.m.. the website says they close at 8pm and the door on the building says buffett is open until 8:30 every day. This place was built in the middle of covid so I refuse to see that as the reason for hour differences. The staff stood around behind the counter. No one asked if we wanted a pizza made and when we asked they just pointed at a counter and didn't say anything. The staff seems more interested in going home than providing good service and could audibly be heard complaining about all the customers. They don't give you a number they give you a buzzer and they dont deliver the pizza to you they make you come up and get it.
The game room doesn't use quarters or tokens. Instead you have to purchase and fill a card with money and the machines were not marked with how much each game cost.
TLDR, if you want a game room for a party go here.
If you want a good experience with great food and customer experience go to the one on the other side of appleton. Where they...
Read moreWent to this particular PR a couple of months ago and was disappointed in the selection. I ended up eating mashed potatoes and chicken at a pizza buffet. So this evening decided to give it another go. They had a partial veggie, pepperoni, bbq chicken and cheese pizza. All less than 4 pieces. I grabbed 2 pepperoni and asked the front guy if more was coming out. He sputtered off a few words but didn't sound promising. Unbeknownst to me was they were closing at 7 and it was 6:30. The sign on the door said open till 9, but nope, they were closing at 7. They brought out a couple more pizzas but by the time I got through the line I got 1 pepperoni. I told the front guy about my disappointment, he said "it's not like there wasn't anything else to eat". I told him I didn't come to pizza ranch to eat potatoes and chicken and that if they weren't going to stock the buffet they shouldn't have taken my money. I would have preferred being told that it was close to close and they weren't making more pizza. He replied saying that management wants them to bring in as many people as possible. Here's my message to management, if you are going to take my money, then you better provide the service I paid for. Will I go back, no I won't. To those who have read this lengthy review, if you do give these guys a whirl, you better ask if they're closing soon if you...
