My wife, son and I were in town from Maryland ( home of Flying Dog and nearby Dogfish head so we do know good beer) for an aunt’s 90th birthday. There were few offerings in the small town regarding dinner or otherwise so our expectations were low. We were beyond delighted on several levels to discover Slate Town. The beers were excellent... Ryes Above and Bikini Bottom were too good to move along the menu...Susan and the staff were attentive, made us feel like family and shared their respective stories with us...all interesting! The slate hop bud... a must see! The beer was so good and no prospects for dining so we took a chance on the menu and were far from disappointed. The Pineapple Pandemonium and Figgy Piggy were delicious. Lastly, don’t underestimate the pint sized pool-table. It’s a slate top and the retro quarter slot ( my 25 year old had no clue😜) made for a charming couple of games! Love this place and lament the distance between us!

1st visit to the brewery. Have had their beers at the Shirt Factory (summer food trucks). The service was wonderful. The employees are attentive and very pleasant and make you feel welcome. We had the Mango Habanero wings and the Harvest Salad with chicken. The food was fresh and tasted very good. I can’t say enough how much I love the beer and I can’t decide which I like the most… Punk’n Harvest Ale with cinnamon and sugar rimmed glass, the Chocolate Milk Stout or the PB Chocolate Milk Stout. It will require a few more visits to decide 😉😉. OMG on the PB and Chocolate Cheesecake! Yum, Yum!! We took seating at the bar which was comfortable and obviously a great choice. As it filled in, conversation was quite friendly and enjoyable. Special mention for the Halloween decor. It was spooktacular and I just loved the tarot decks on the table. Thanks for a great time. Definitely will be returning again and again and spreading the word.

Great little spot in Granville NY. Pizza is delish. Tastes like their crust is homemade, wood fired pizzas. There are games everywhere like board games, trivial pursuit and their pool table is free. Family friendly atmosphere yet still cool for meet ups with friends. There are colored lights everywhere and skeletons arranged in cute ways around. Not to mention service was great! Quick and friendly without feeling rushed whatsoever. When I went there last I had a pumpkin ale rimmed with maple sugar and pumpkin pie spice and a veg head pizza. Everything was delish and fresh! My 5 yr old son and I played a game of pool and we had a blast! 😂

Very Good!

-It seemed chilly when we first arrived but we were dressed appropriately for November in Upstate NY and we warmed up sufficiently.

-Great beer selection with accurate descriptions.

-Food on time.

-Perfectly crispy french fries boasted a fresh taste.

-Wings were meaty and well prepared with fabulous flavor options.

-We ordered additional wings but they didn't show up on our bill so we had to send the check back to make the addition.

-Pizza crust was as light and flavorful as we remembered. With some ranch dressing for dipping, we devoured the pizza "bones".

-Paninis were a hit. Easy to eat, not too messy. We ordered one to go.

-Wait staff was friendly when we had their attention. Our party of 8 would have enjoyed several more pints if they were more observant.

-Overall, we give Slate Town Brewing...
