Pizzeria Americana — Restaurant in Town of Greece

Thank you for making our Super Bowl party a success. Both sheet pizzas were excellent - and unlike a lot of sheet pizzas yours don't taste different than round pies, I'm guessing you bake even the full sheet pizzas right on the oven floor and I'm guessing your oven floor is stone since the bottom of the crust was perfect (a little browned, dry, not soggy and a little crackly with a nice bready interior).

The mozz was ample and high quality - I'm guess you guys hand shred in house? The cup and char pepperoni is a nice touch (be sure to request it when ordering). The red sauce is tangy, not overly seasoned and complements the rest of the pie well.

The bone in wings arrived well done and perfect. The buffalo medium sauce here is a little "darker" than the the traditional orange/red buffalo sauce. The flavor is still buffalo style, with a little something extra going on that I can't figure out (mind you this is not a bad thing, these wings were great!)

Lastly, it was Super Bowl Sunday and the 2 sheets and 100 wings arrived right on time and perfectly done....

Not the best IMO, very mediocre if that. We ordered pepperoni and cheese pizza with mild and hot wings. The dough seemed decent, but the sauce tasted so much like pasta sauce it made us feel like we weren't eating pizza. They also put the pepperoni underneath the cheese which I am not a fan of at all (personal preference). It makes it very difficult to take off if you have kids that are cheese only lovers. The wings were such a HUGE disappointment. I wish I took a picture, but they clearly throw some type of very watery sauce on the bottom of a takeout container and then just throw the wings (straight from the fryer it seems) on top. No mixing, no shaking, nothing. They were basically just plain wings. We won't ever go back - my pizza and wing expectations are too high for pasta sauce on pizza and plain wings with water...

Been a Greece resident since 2000. was a long time Customer prior to and after name change. Best pizza and wings in Rochester. Over time cleaned up my act on fast food then today around 2:15 I had the want for some Great pizza and wings. I stumbled back when googling pizza in Greece and was ready for some Rochester Sauce and go back in time.

Placed my Order, not real good with hearing and I own that. Its too bad whoever took my order had to be so set back by repeating themselves and add to it by raising their voice and slowly speaking the words implying I went from a paying Customer to now and Idiot paying customer, thanks but no thanks. sorry to tie up the phone line too long and add to your stress of serving the customer.
