The Retreat — Restaurant in Town of Greece

Last night the Retreat lost a long time customer and consistent customer due to the owner Danielle and the way she has continually treated customers over the past few months. Called to place a weekly wing order , and asked before placing order if I could pay by card over the phone, was told yes I can so I proceed to order , after ordering and getting ready to pay I'm told I can not pay over phone ....fine whatever I'll pay when I pick up. During that time a member of my fily left the house yo grab coffee and took the credit card with them, when i noticed I called the retreat back to simply delay my order for 30 minutes until I could get there or if they were ready to inform them I'll be late but it's fine if they are already cooked . Danielle then decided this was the time to berate the customer on the phone and accuse me of wasting her money , even tho i simply called to say I'd be a little later . She continued on her rant until I did finally tell her we would not be picking up , paying or ever coming back. This is not a single event , these types of occurrences are fairly regular with her as she talks with a extremely aggressive and disrespectful tone (no , not just to me , I've witnessed this atleaat a dozen times while being in the bar) Both bars in that plaza are dieing , you'd think theyd want to keep customers that actually are regulars but apparently not, might be why finding help is so difficult and she's forced to waitress...

We made a last minute decision to stop in on a Friday night to eat with a party of 5. We had to wait about 45 min. but it was our fault since we didn't make a reservation.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. The food was really good; it took a little bit but the place was packed the entire time we were there. It was also loud due to the number of people in there; it was hard to have a conversation at the table and hear what was being said.

The fish sandwhich, two different types of quesadilla, chicken wings and chicken tender plate were all enjoyed. The food arrived hot and we had some leftovers.

The prices...

Been going to the retreat for years now, for the most part they have good food but after tonight wont be getting wings there for a while. 80% of the wings had no meat and where just the outside, the sauce was good but it there was almost zero meat and they where very dry. paid $32 for these. Told my friends we should have got wingjammers but nope retreat sounded better I guess and they regrated there decision . not trying to shame here but trying to get the establishment to do better. Unacceptable
