Hollowbrook — Restaurant in Town of Greenville

My son and I traveled upstate for my sister-in-laws surprise 40th. We stayed and ate at Hollowbrook. We arrived Friday early evening, checked into our room, then walked down to the restaurant for dinner. We ate on the patio during sunset with a gorgeous view of the mountains. I ate the lobster bisque bread bowl which was phenomenal, my son had a personal pizza (he loved it). The breakfast reminded me of being at my Nana's house on Sunday mornings. Our room was so comfy and cozy (truly peaceful) My son, who is 3, thought it was the coolest thing to wake up in the morning and see deer grazing. I don't have the words to express how truly beautiful & relaxing this little get away spot is. Morning coffee out on the patio with views of the woods, mountains, & vineyard PERFECT! We arrived on a Friday early afternoon the owner Jim was very friendly and happy to let us take the room a little early. When we entered room #1 the rug was new. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was dated but very clean. The air conditioner worked well being it was 90 degrees plus. The tv needs to be upgraded. Overall we were very satisfied. It's all part of the country experience. I loved the fact that there was fresh coffee or tea in the sitting room that was located in the middle of the rooms.
