Washington Square Deli — Restaurant in Town of Greenwich

WOW! The cheddar cheese burger was a MAJOR HIT! If you love beef and burgers you will LOVE this place. It’s huge and was done to my liking at medium well. Slight pink inside but not bloody and it was so juicy and tasty that I was using my bun to soak up the delicious juice run off. And, so huge I had to take half of it home. The chicken and wild rice soup was heavenly with plenty of broth and LOTS of chicken and rice. The grilled cheese was a mix of cheddar and muenster cheese which made it melt in to a creamy delicious bite in toasted French peasant bread. The tomato basil soup had a fresh creamy tomato and pleasant basil mix. Each one complimented each other. I rarely find a restaurant that does a burger perfect but this is the place. The beef is ground in house and fresh. It’s hard to describe flavor but a true beef lover will recognize this is the real deal...
