The Hedge Bistro — Restaurant in Town of Guilderland

I met a friend here for lunch on Valentine's Day. We didn't realize that being on a golf course that it was off-season. I got there first to notice just 1 car in the parking lot. When I walked in I kind of surprised the staff that was there. I said, "Hey are you open," They looked over and said, "Sure!" What a find! Donovan and his staff treated us to a wonderful lunch. The fish tacos I had were superb. 3 Perfectly spiced flour tortillas with a fantastic crunch from a homemade type of slaw, and perfectly done, lightly breaded fish. My friend had a Reuben she loved and could barely eat half of it.

Google shows them as open despite it not being golf ⛳️ season. I highly recommend calling them and enjoying a great meal. Another couple had come in while we were there. I ordered the turkey club for delivery, longest wait time ever, driver told me the 3 drivers who picked up before him canceled because the wait time was soooo high...turkey club with fries...food finally shows and I had to throw out almost the entire sandwich. Turkey tasted like it expired, same with mayo. Bacon was raw....RAW after waiting over 45 minutes.

Please close your doors before you give people food poisoning 🙂.

So close to home. Wanted to love it but it’s just ok. Lunchtime Only couple of tables filled. We sat for 10 minutes. Finally I got up and asked girl behind bar for menus. She never came over for order even though there was no one at the bar. Sweet woman finally did. Didn’t know how to make a Moscow mule drink??? Settled for coffee that had to be hours old !!
