My husband and I were in the area for a soccer tournament and I told him I just wanted an "old fashioned Ice cream in a cone in a cute little roadside place." (Good luck trying to Google that because nothing really comes up). But I stumbled on Hayner's Ice Cream and boy am I glad I did. This was exactly the type of place I was looking for. The ice cream was amazing (highly recommend the strawberry cheesecake hard ice cream) and the place itself was absolutely adorable. Situated right next to a park, we were able to get our ice creams and go for a nice walk along a cornfield and baseball diamonds. I felt like the experience was straight out of a Hallmark movie. I wish we were staying longer because I would go back time and time again. We'll remember this place for the next time we're out this way and you can be sure...

Understandable to not want injury on your property but the tone and rudeness of the worker asking was appalling. Also as we received our orders, two were given without sprinkles even though specifically asked for. When corrected at the window the same employee made it a big deal about how sprinkles werenโt on the sheet but โsureโ. We didnโt even ask for the other yo get sprinkles due to that rude response and ended up with one kiddo very upset. At an ice cream establishment that is so โfamily orientedโ they clearly are so money hungry that fixing their error and providing free sprinkles is too much to ask. Simply will not...

Are your employees getting paid by your establishment or are they getting paid only through tips? When we went to pay for the pie the cashier pointed out that we did not leave a tip. I don't mind tipping a waitress or someone waiting on me and bringing me food. Someone who is working for tips, but someone ringing up a pie that I purchased at your establishment is different. Are you paying them a salary? Why should I have to tip? The pie was excellent, but unfortunately I will never return! I felt like your cashier tried to shame my mother because she...
