Mama's Pizza Express — Restaurant in Town of Halfmoon

I love the food here. The sauce is great. I have had many pizzas over the years, eggplant parm subs/dinners, turkey subs, salads and boneless wings. Take out is best. The prices are better than competition. The staff and owner are nice and appreciate your business. They have a friendly serving attitude which can be rarely found in restaurants/businesses nowadays. They go out of their way to make you happy, even adjusted a price when I was buying food for my son's funeral get together afterwards (which they didn't know why I was buying that day). That was a blessing.They don't charge extra for an extra dressing even either. The only constructive comment I could say (and I know they will change this once they know it--just haven't known how to say it--and I will remove this once I see it has changed OF COURSE) is that my food (pizza) can slightly be touched by hands while it is being dished out or someone can be on the phone, handling money and not sanitize their hands after, and my food is slightly touched or the containers to my food touched then. I will continue to get food there in spite of it. ...

I have ordered several times from them being they are my neighborhood pizza joint. I was very disappointed in my meal ordered tonight. Not sure what has happened to the quality of food they are now putting out. I had to go to my refrigerator and break out ingredients to make my meal the way it should have been. It was lacking two ingredients. I basically paid for bread. I did call and let them know I was disappointed. The nice girl on the phone did offer a refund but I didnt accept it. I felt funny taking back money from a small businesses during this difficult time. I was however told that next time they would make sure to do better. This isnt the first time in three months I've been disappointed, I quess I just kept giving the benefit of the doubt. This is strike three and I've decided to say something on this forum. I have ordered from mothers in the past and usually gotten great food. But over the last several months I’ve seen a major decline in the meals and things that I’ve been getting out of the restaurant. Last night I had ordered three dinners. The stuff shells were squished in the bag and have a funny smell and taste to them I ended up just throwing them out home and I had also ordered a chicken Parm meal there was more breading than there was chicken Parm I had a pile of breading that had fallen off the chicken then I did chicken with the meal. There’s spaghetti sauce is very land there’s no flavor to it as well. I hope with my review that they were maybe reevaluate their arm their methods because like I said prior to this they used to be really really good and I used to enjoy...
