1 Star - Friendly.
2 Star - Prepared Quickly
3 No Star - Food VERY bland - and some kind of strange tasting.
4 No Star - Soups tasted odd. Hot & Sour soup has more of a mucus-like consistency. Sorry, but it does. Wonton Soup was old looking and tasting. The wontons were thick and yellowed. Egg Rolls, low quality.
5 No Star - General Tso’s Chicken had small amounts of chicken and lots of batter. The Cashew Chicken was just okay, had decent vegetables, but only a few very small pieces of chicken. The “fried rice” was just yellow colored steamed rice. It did have small pieces of pork in it.
Happened to be in the area and Chinese sounded good at the time.
We dined-in. The place is not dirty. Spartan. Plastic forks and spoons by request. Very small and thin napkins. Ask for sauces in packets and they will give them to you from behind the counter.
Honestly and sadly, it was disappointing. As one who rarely has a bad experience (and eats out at different places daily), I rarely have been to a place that have would score less than 4 to 5 stars. We didn’t check this place out on-line. Just stopped without looking at...
Read moreIm so so sorry but i read all the good reviews and i don’t understand. When I chew on the chicken in the Kung pow I feel like I’m chewing on a warm piece of gum… Obviously this is all frozen right up until the moment it’s cooked. The dude behind the counter was not the friendliest I felt like I was putting him out I’m not eating the rest of this because I’m not sure why the chicken is so chewy or if this is even chicken to begin with…? $11.00 of chewy chicken weirdness. No big deal I guess but I also asked for the vegetable lo mein and ended up with plain rice not sure where the lines got crossed I was the only one in the whole place. I’d give one star but I don’t want to look like him too much auto place with everyone else who thinks this is good Chinese food. I’m even nervous to keep eating it but I don’t want to waste $11. And the chicken taste like it was soaked in olive oil or something and then frozen the shininess you see in the picture is weird...
Read moreGood crab meat rangoons; they are in the triangle shape which I prefer.
Sweet and sour sauce is different from what I'm used to, it's more orange than red in color, but tasty.
They also have great moo shu chicken. Moo shu can sometimes be hard to find as it's not so common, and this place even has the real wrappers (thin crepe type), as opposed to tortilla shells a lot of places use. Next time I will try to see if they can go a bit light on the sauce, because I feel it could be healthy-ish since its has a lot of cabbage and veg in it.
Looking forward to coming back and trying some more things. Parking is very limited and tricky in front, but there's more located along the side. I like that they ask you if you need packets of sauce instead of just giving them to you by default. I love getting spicy mustard, but the soy sauce packets already in my fridge don't need any more company. Credit cards are accepted. No delivery available at the...
