Frosty Treat — Restaurant in Town of Hanover

Ice cream was your average Perry’s and pricing was not the worst. Cash only. Most ice cream places do decent sizes for one scoop, here it is not a big scoop fyi. Girl at the window was grumpy/not very nice, enough for me to post a review about it. They made it seem like they were closed at 8:35pm, when they didn’t close until 9. Had the closed sign out. Seemed more annoyed than anything they had customers come. And since there was 7 of us, it brought the attention of others noticing that they actually are in fact open. I went with someone who said it has changed a lot since the new owners. My SIL just bought a house in the area. We will not be back. Don’t get annoyed at customers who are coming a full 25 minutes before you close and maybe say hi and be kinder next time. If you’re so bothered to do your job, maybe don’t...

We stopped by, forgetting it was new owners, but quickly noticed the difference. I asked what happened to all the sundaes. She replied we still offer them but dont want to clutter up the windows. Well..... that's what people know and love and will probably not remember or ask when they order. I chose not to get anything and my daughter said the taste of her Sundae was off. It was thrown away and we went to sunset grill. Our friends warned us that they were not going back. Neither are we. Maybe when they run out of customers, someone can buy it and bring back the cluttered windows, friendly people, and good tasting ice cream that created the long lines out...

Me, my finance and child + family have been coming here for years. To say we're disappointed is an understatement. As we sat off to the side of the building, a set of customers walked up at 7:54, and the staff were inside, saying they were closed and shut the window before 8 PM. At 8:03 PM we were booted off the property and told it's considered loitering on the property. Sad to say, but frosty treat has really gone downhill with the new management. Staff seem like they're bothered to do their jobs. Not that it makes a huge difference, but they did lose a handful of loyal customers...
