Carvel — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

The person who waited on my needs serious customer service training immediately. I patiently waited while he finished with the customer ahead of me when another customer entered after I did. Rather than asking me what I'd like to order he says to the other customer who entered the business after me " two mediums". Clearly they must be a regular or the employee is a psychic, however my money is GREEN! Poor service such as this is exactly why small businesses such as this close down. In addition to the horrendous service experience I was uncharged for extra topping which were not ordered or advised up front- perhaps the employee thinks additional $1 I was charged will go in his check. Be better young man otherwise this community job you're fortunate to have will go out...

I bought a birthday cake for my daughter even though I wanted her too get cupcakes any way I bought half sheet cake too make a long story short WHERE WAS THE CRUNCHES there was nothing but ice cream more chocolate then anything we was better off making our own ice cream cake and the CRUNCHIES is what really makes the ice cream cake so disappointing and a waste of money too be honest I was so upset I was gonna take the cake too where I bought it in Hempstead on Jerusalem ave and show them what they are selling...

Lost a 30+ year customer plus other customers related. I arrived right as they closed. Realizing I would not be able to make a purchase, I tried getting the attention of the employees plus owner to ask a question. They deliberately continued to ignore me. The level of friendliness and customer service has definitely changed. Every time I'm in town I make several visits to this location because it was a childhood favorite.
