Le Castella Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Saw this new pizza place and decided to try it out. Ordered some slices to go and have tasted several variety of slices, including plain, Sicilian, and grandma slices and several specialty slices. The plain slice was good; not too thin, very good crust and decent flavored sauce. Spinach artichoke slice was exceptionally great. Chicken bacon ranch, cheddar chicken, sausage and peppers, and the grandma slices were all very delicious and flavorful. Hawaiian slice was very good too. Chicken parmesan slice was ok. The crust on every slice I tasted was very good...crispy and chewy, some with a little bit of char (which I prefer). Overall, very good flavor combination for the specially slices. Service was good. We recently moved to SC and have missed NY pizza so much! We were here for a quick trip and went to this new pizzeria. This place’s food is AMAZING!! The crunch on their pizza is like no other! My kid who hates pizza literally ate a whole slice and my other one who never eats more than just 3 bites, ate almost a whole slice. I just went to this new pizza place a block from my house and ordered a pie half vegetables and half cheese. Chef come out and told me all the fresh vegetables they have so they use all fresh veggies and also make me a fresh chicken noodle soup. I'm definitely going back there and highly recommend this place to everyone. Everyone is super friendly the service 10 out 10 like my daughter Sophia just said. I wish you guys...
