McDonald's — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

My experience at Mickey D's took place between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Tuesday August 6th. I was not happy at all with the overall service. I was waiting on the n40-n41 bus with an ETA of 20 min & thought to to myself, "hmmm, i could go for some fast food literally & Mickey D's was right across the street". I figured pshh 25 min? There were only 2 cars ahead of me & 1 of the cars was already @ the last window finishing up so I should def make it with time to spare but that wasnt the case. I don't know or understand what was going on but suffice to say that a double cheeseburger and small fries deal took a little over 25 minutes and miss my bus. Not to mention that around the time that I mentioned I was there which was very late so the buses ran every hour. So a double cheeseburger & fries not only cost me about 3 bucks & change but also cost me almost an hour and 30 minutes in total which in my opinion 25 min for that order is completely unacceptable for a 24 hour fast food restaurant, after hours & wasn't busy at all.

The one good thing that I can say is that the lady employee that was working the drive-thru was extremely polite, kind and courteous. Her personality was the only thing that kept me from being so angry about missing my bus and having to wait a whole nother hour. But the fact remains that a double cheeseburger & small fries albeit very tasty should never take 25 minutes plus. They gave me the wrong order. I ordered a large combo Big Mac and instead they gave me a quarter pounder with cheese and for the happy I order fir my little sister. The toy didn’t come included gave me apple slices instead when I specially asked for yogurt. I asked the lady where the toy was as for kids it’s the first thing they look for when getting their happy meal. But the lady in the drive thru was giving attitude to us and I don’t really appreciate that. My mother who was next to me was telling me to just go because she no longer wanted to feel scared of the lady giving us attitude. I later at realized that my order was wrong and on the receipt it clearly charged for a Big Mac and not a quarter pounder with cheese. So if someone what’s to be intimidated and sacred for themselves then go visit the McDonald’s in Roosevelt New York. For I’ll never go there again seeing as it’s customer service is beyond awful and I would recommend for someone else to order from another fast food place or at a different...

I've had an on going issue where this particular Establishment since 2016. What they do as per their manager Robert. They push the bottom of the large fry carton so that the fries are sitting on a platform. What happens is that u ask for a large and they give the medium amount in the large manipulated carton. It is a shame how a billion dollar business would cheat the community out of it's hard earned money. Robert is still telling his staff to cheat the people. How do I know? Just 8/22/18 I ordered a large fry. Whn asked why is this still happening, they will tell u " Our manager tells us to do that to the fries". A damn shame is wht it is. If enough people complain whn it happens then maybe we can bring about change. Even if that change mean having Robert removed!
