Four Brothers Pizza Inn — Restaurant in Town of Hillsdale

I ordered from the catering menu for my step daughter's rehearsal dinner. I gave her the menu and let her decide what she would like to have, then placed the order a few days in advance. When I arrived, the confirmed what my order was by verbally telling me what everything was, I agreed that it was correct so they rang me up. They charged double what their catering menu listed as the prices for half and full pans of the items ordered without any notice. I questioned it and was told "yeah that changed", I asked when and they told me this week. It ended up being over $400 for 1 pan of penne Ala vodka, 1 pan of chicken scampi and a half pan of chicken tenders. Thankfully we brought salad and anything else needed. When we arrived with the food and unwrapped it, the penne Ala vodka looked and tasted like baked ziti (didn't even bother using penne pasta) and the chicken scampi was far from chicken scampi. It looked more like chicken florentine and tasted nothing like chicken scampi. Absolutely not worth the cost especially since they advertise one price then charge you much more. Do not recommend for dine in, take out or catering, will not...

So, I havent been to this restaurant in about 25 years or so, was excited to revisit as an adult and see how good my memory was...

First thing to say, the food was very good, medium pizza, half cheese and half pepperoni. Excellent. Also had the Antipasto Salad, was also very good. One thing to note, the water is some of the worst tasting water I have ever had. Get a purifier!

The problems are not the food, or the staff (young blonde girl was very polite and responsive), but the place needs a makeover.. badly. I swear it was literally the same tables and chairs from about 30 years ago... and they are in tatters. The place seems dirty. My young girls kept needing to change tables due to each one we were seated at having crumbs all over the booth seats. Not to mention, a lot of the chairs and benches are ripped and/or taped over with a red type of duct tape. My shorts were literally sticking to the tape on the booth. Very unpleasant and made me want to get out of there. Also, the bathrooms are horrible.

Celebrated my granddaughters Birthday at Four Brothers Pizza Inn at Hillsdale NY!!! We all had a great time and enjoyed each others company! The staff at Four Brothers did a fantastic job of taking care of us, and I would recommend going there for a gathering- small or large, they can accommodate!!! Most importantly, the food is excellent... and the service was great... thank you for putting the icing on this special celebration!!! P.S. Someone in our party ordered the salmon and vegetables - not expecting much, but he was VERY pleasantly surprised, stating that it was one of the best he's had. From Four Brothers? YES, from Four Brothers Pizza Inn located in beautiful...
