Holland Willows — Restaurant in Town of Holland

Walked in on Saturday Evening bout 9:45pm to order some subs to go. I had both eaten and drinkin in this place many times in the past with some friends and even bowled here and had a nice time and enjoyed the food, BUT TONIGHT WAS A DIFFERENT STORY. Tonight we were treated very poorly. The Barmaid 1st of all, when we ordered our subs told us that they come with potato chips but instead of chips we could choose fries or onion rings. Well we said ok we will take onion rings instead of chips. Well she never told us there that it was an extra $2.50 each charge, she made it sound like the onion rings were replacing the chips. Then they charged an extra $1.00 for takeout. While we waited for our food we ordered a couple drinks. The Barmaid messed up on a drink, we ordered a Crown Apple with Cranberry which I repeated for her 3× and she still asked me again but saying Crown Apple and Ginger Ale? Again I said NO, CROWN APPLE & CRANBERRY. Well she handed us a Crown & Ginger Ale anyways, again I said I ordered a Crown & Cranberry. Well instead of apologizing and making the drink we ordered she just said she would add a splash of cranberry to the wrong drink she made. Wouldnt even apologize or make the original drink we ordered. ROTTEN SERVICE & ROTTEN ATTITUDE. SAD, that she treated customers that way. She certainly needs Customer...

We definitely recommend the Holland Willows!!!! They were absolutely great for our caterer for our wedding reception this August. We worked with Brigette and her staff and they went above and beyond helping us figure out everything for our menu. Brigette is an absolute life saver! I cannot explain how great she is to work with - she was always willing to try anything that popped up in our head and even worked with our menu being completely gluten free! Her cooks whipped up their own recipe of Siciliano Chicken (which is to die for!!!) We also had Prime Rib, Yukon roasted potatoes and roasted vegetables. I had a weird request wanting pierogis as appetizers to go with our charcuterie boards (which were presented so beautifully) and of course Brigette made the pierogis happen!! Everything went seamless and i cant think of any issues we had, we were very lucky to have found the Holland Willows to cater and we are so so so thankful that we did. This review is way overdue, but Brigette and her staff deserve all the recognition! Brigette was very accommodating to what I wanted for our wedding day. She made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it. Holland Willows has lots of beautiful scenery for a variety of photos. There is even a place for the girls to get ready with lots of outlets and a private bathroom. The venue is very elegant and classy. And the outside is absolutely beautiful. The Staff was very catering to the Wedding Party and make sure all our needs were met. The price was well within our low budget wedding. The food was absolutely divine! I received tons of compliments on how good the food was. There was plenty of seating with plenty of room for Dancing! Brigette, make sure my day was perfect. I will Forever, be grateful for that.
