I went with a group of friends who were in the area. We asked to be seated by a fire if seated outside which did not happen. We were seated in a very dark corner furthest away from any of the fires even though there were all open tables surrounding the fires in the lighted section of the patio. Our party was 7. There were only 6 sets of Utensils and 5 appetizer plates on the table. After around a half hour of sitting in the cold and the dark our waitress came by to ask us what drinks and food we wanted so we ordered but also had to ask for additional settings on the table. We also asked for a water for everyone. After 10 minutes of waiting for extra plates utensils and waters I had to leave to get a jacket because it was pretty chilly. I drove all the way home and back and the drinks were still not at the table nor were the waters, plates, or utensils. When we finally got our drinks there were no waters brought to the table. One person in our party wasn’t even brought their drink which was strange because he and one other at the table ordered the exact same thing. Appetizers eventually came out and then the last beer was finally brought to the table. When the last drink came out I had to ask a third time for the extra plates and utensils/napkins. Finally the food came out with the waters after having to ask again for them. (The Mac and cheese was tasty but a few hours after leaving the restaurant I was feeling a bit sick) The same person in the group who’s drink came late didn’t get his food. He was told 20 minutes after we all ordered that the thing he ordered was out so he had to order something else. So he did and also ordered a second drink. By the time his food came everyone at the table was finished eating/ sharing so he could eat with us. His second drink never came. The 6 person party directly next to us was being constantly serviced and waited on promptly and efficiently while our table was mostly being ignored the whole time. When we asked for anything extra like waters or the extra appetizer plates we were given attitudes and had to ask multiple times. Eventually I asked the sever for four boxes. She came back with only one. We waited and our table started to get cleared I asked a second time for the additional 3 boxes. Never came. When the waitress came out with our checks I asked a third time for the boxes. We were never even asked if we wanted dessert (we didn’t.) We waited about 15 minutes for her to come collect the checks and give us the boxes and that never happened. So I went inside and asked at the bar if she’d be able to ring out our checks. (At this point most of our time had been spent waiting for the server instead of enjoying the experience here so we just wanted to leave) The bartender seemed confused and asked someone else to do it. When I gave her the checks and our cards I was given an attitude. The employee says “oh holy moly” and rolls her eyes at me. (There were only 2 tables occupied inside and 3 other parties outside) So I explained that it was just taking a bit too long and we were ready to leave. When I handed her the checks I also asked if we could have a few extra boxes because “I had to ask a few times but no one brought any over” she ignored me and walked up to the register. I politely waited there and she turned around and with an attitude says “you can wait at your table. I’ll bring them out to you.” Which then I had to ask a fifth time for the boxes. Now I’m angry because everyone at the restaurant was being treated so politely and with smiling service while my party was being treated rudely and with short attitudes. When the waitress came out with the checks she just left them on the table and says “I’m just going to leave these here” rather than handing each one to whom they belonged. The receipts were all jumbled up and not with the correct cards. It was unclear which copy needed to be signed because some of us didn’t get a receipt some of us got 3 copies and some only 1. (We separated into 4 checks). We all said thank you and left. No thanks or you’re welcome...
Read moreWow, what an unfortunate experience to have wandered into this establishment this weekend! Our group of 12 walked in for some drinks and food to celebrate a Bachelorette weekend. It was around 2/3pm and they had a decent amount of customers but plenty of room toward the back. Not only did staff look surprised to see a group, but they looked disappointed! Our bride was dressed up and it was more than obvious we were there for a special celebration. The decision to come to the Brewery was last minute so we did not call in advance for any type of reservation, but we were fully ready to wait until they would be able to accomodate us as we did not think a group would turn them off. We were immediately asked if we could leave, since we wanted to sit and eat as well, and then come back as the wait would be around 30 mins. We initially agreed but then requested to gather by the bar instead as there was room and we wanted to start with some drinks. We were granted that permission.
The bartender noticed 3 out of the 12 people had taken out IDS with their cards so she immediately stepped over to say "everyone here has to be rung up together as a group because it is easier for US" A few people opted out of purchasing drinks at that point since we were waiting to be seated anyway, and her attitude about it was unnecessary. Within 5 minutes we were all escorted toward the back wall (the whole section was empty, so that inital 30 min wait was suddenly changed). After taking over 25 minutes to take our orders, two people were told "I should have told you we are sold out of wings and a few other items" and those people had to review the menu again to order.
Drinks were literally slammed down and slid over toward us with a quick "here's your drink". Almost an hour of waiting to recieve a few finger food appetizers that were overpriced and lackluster. Silverware and napkins had to be requested in addition to missed portions of our dishes AFTER food was finally brought out.
We originally intended on spending time at the Brewery to enjoy the beautiful day and local beer. However, we all left right after our food due to the excessive flies, bad vibes and poor...
Read moreWhile the atmosphere was nice, and the food was pretty good, the service was incredibly awful, and they didn't sell their own beer. My family and I were looking to have a nice dinner out after a day on the mountains, and were aware there would be a wait. When we asked how long the wait would be, the waitress said she didn't know, she would have to go count the tables with food. We weren't bothered, just enjoyed our drinks and waited. Finally the waitress said our table was ready. We walked ourselves to the open table and stood there confused, as she didn't lead us to the table or seat us with menus. I tried to make eye contact to ask if this was our table. She finally looked and nodded. We sat down, but never received menus. We sat there chatting, enjoying the live music. After watching two other parties be walked to their tables after arriving a good half an hour after us, and given drinks AND food, we began to get frustrated. We found menus on a tray with a rag on it and picked what we wanted. We still hadn't seen a waitress, and my father got up to let the waitress know. Upon letting her know we haven't been so much as looked at, she responded with "I know", rather than an apology. Another waitress finally came to take our order and let us know that someone had called out and they were busy, and apologized for the wait. She then told us that the woman that had not even looked at us who "sat us", and who my father spoke to was the owner. Mind you, she never apologized for anything. We were understanding and ordered. We got our food, which was pretty good. We waited another 20 minutes, until our waitress came with the check, and we expressed that we were quite upset at the way things were handled, especially by the owner. She was apologetic, but still the owner didn't have the decency to even look at us. It honestly ruined our night. We understand things get busy, and we were more than compliant, but we at least deserved an apology and the owner couldn't...
