Sardo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

Just opened in Greenlawn Plaza. The first thing I noticed was this place is extremely clean and the interior looks newly rennovated. Great look and great food. Beer and wine are available. For apps we tried the meatball sliders and the buffalo wings. The sliders were delicious and the wings were crispy and perfectly fried. Next tried the Sardo's pasta with crumbled sausage, broccoli rabe and sun dried tomatoes which was fantastic. The penne w/vodka was perfect. Great flavor and perfectly cooked pasta. Update They have really dialed themselves in significantly since my first review. I’ve been blown away at the next few experiences I had with them. The crust is super airy with a light crisp now. Our favorite is the fried chicken vodka sauce pizza. Absolutely amazing.

Original Review: Decent pizzeria. Their special slices are pretty good. One thing I’ve noticed is that their crust versus other places is a bit on the dry side. horrible experience and food was terrible. waited extra 45 minutes for food to be ready. ran out of penne and spaghetti, theres a grocery store in the same shopping center by the way. the spaghetti we did get was chopped up. who does that? ran out of garlic knots. food was so bland i thought id have to take a covid test thinking i lost my taste. pizza was burnt and cold. there were several dishes ordered to make so why make the pizza first and let it sit there? should have been made last or given a fresh pie. never experienced anything like this before will...
