Andrea Strassner- World's worst customer. Never had a worst smelling customer in the history of when this THING came in and got food. No matter what she ordered as soon as she touched it it was destroyed, finger nails had feces under them and does not practice any hygiene whatsoever. Surprised an unknown disease has not taken her...

In my opinion, the phrase "G.O.A.T" is overused waaaay too much, and can lead to not having much meaning because of its overuse.

HOWEVER,... it is my humble opinion that this location is the BEST in Rochester, and Gerry is the G.O.A.T!!! I've had pie at other locations,.. but again, in my honest opinion, this location adheres and tastes so much like the original Pontillos from Batavia and is always a treat when we order from here!

Gerry's expertise and knowledge, true artistry in making awesome 'pies' is unmatched, and the staff there have become like family to me!

I will only order pizza from one other location than this one,... and that location happens to be in a small city in Portugal - Ovar,... so no worries there Gerry!! :)

If you truly want a great pizza (and wings), and probably anything else Gerry makes- I just always order pie and wings,.. at a decent price, with a friendly/family atmosphere, then look no further, Gerry's your guy, and Pontillo's Empire is your place! I had to revise my because my man Gerry is not there anymore, and the quality he put into his pies is now lacking, in my humble opinion. No disrespect to the current dude or staff,.. but I hey, I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years, and I had developed a rapport with Gerry!! Hey? I ordered through Doordash and feel like I didn't get pontillos pizza? Granted it was my first time with this location but pontillos had been pretty consistent for the last 3 decades. Every other time I got pontillos, the large round pies were square cut, this wasn't. The box was also not branded.. this you could probably explain away but the pizza had no flavor and tried to over compensate with too much cheese. I had to go double check my receipt that I did order doordash from pontillos because I was in disbelief. My wife thought I got it at a speedway.

Not sure what happened here but what I had didn't seem like pontillos and was not good. I guess next time I gotta go in and watch them make it to see if it lines up to what doordash dropped off.

If the restaurant reads these post a pic of a large pepperoni pizza you make and your box then I'll show you what I got to see if it lines up. Doordash of course told me to pound sand when I reached out to them.

Edit for reply: are you guys under the same banner as other pontillos locations? Like Hilton, webster, Bushnell, Greece? Or different owner/process. This pizza is nothing like any pontillos I had before so I was more curious if I got duped by doordash. Having never ordered from this location, I didn't have a baseline for what...
