I love the Burger Den. We will travel 1/2 hour to come out and go there as a treat. My 7 year old has his favorites and so do I. So when I had guests visit and we found ourselves in Sushan we headed over to the Den for dinner. It was busy and they were working on finding us seating when I offered to sit at the counter...where we were completely ignored. We found our own menus and had to ask for our order to be taken. Aside from a milk shake(which came out 10 minutes later), we promptly got our drinks and then...we were ignored again. Customers came in after us and were done before we got our food. We had three kids with us, two crying softly because they were so hungry and still we were passed by. We tracked down the waitress and explained we had very hungry kids and 10 minutes later we got our food...nothing that needed a lot of preparation and was probably made in that 10 minute span; we had waited 45 minutes prior to this request. The food was fine and the price was reasonable, things I really love about the Den. The service, when we got it, was fine. Everyone has a bad night and we'll give the Den another try, but if you feel like you are being ignored when you go, be the squeaky wheel...or be a local: a local guy who sat at the counter after we had come in had his order taken, got his drink, had his meal and left 10 minutes before our...

The high rating is for the old ownership. As I pulled into the parking lot, another couple pulled in at the same time, I asked them if the food here is still good.."they said it's not as good as the old ownership but the portions are plentiful" we gambled and gave it a shot.

the portions were indeed generous..but tasteless.

My partner had a long black hair in her turkey and stuffing sandwich and my tasteless burger was an absolute joke

The French fries were the same quality and unseasoned you'd buy frozen from a grocery store.

Later that evening I felt sick. Not only could I 10 Billion % cook better food myself... which was in itself annoying having paid for it, but to make matters worse I got sick.

Again.. the current ratings are all old reviews. Keep driving and remember this review while smiling knowing I saved your guts torture.

The waitress was nice. And left her a 20% tip. It's not her fault the incompetence in the kitchen but if you..the waitress asked me how it was? I said not bad.. cause I felt bad she was probably having a slow night.

Go. Somewhere. Else. And I will be calling the health department for an...

This is truly a best kept secret. I am from out of town , driven by this restaurant over a dozen times, and tried to pop into to grab a bite, but arrived too late. Yesterday while the rest of the surrounding areas are closed on Mondays, this was OPEN!!! I made it in...the order was placed, The Ruben Sandwich, delicious, Coconut Fried Shrimp- delicious flavorful without the breading too, New England Clam Chowder- scrumptious unlike any I have had, Mac n Cheese side dish- Yummy, Banana Bread- delightful, Crab cakes- not greasy and very tasty, Sea Food Platter- Cod was flavorful without and topping including lemon, Sea Scallops- SPECTACULAR! Simply stated their food here does not require cocktail sauce or tartar sauce. You cannot be disappointed with any selection of food, I would know because I sampled a few dishes. Danielle is a very professional, delightful, happy, and attentive employee. You really should stop in rather than drive by looking elsewhere for a tasty meal. Look at the hours of operation before you head out though. Enjoy your meal as I have very much enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere of this...

We decided to visit the Burger Den for breakfast on our last day in Cambridge. The hours of operation are 8am-2pm, breakfast is served all day. Upon entering we were immediately greeted by the staff who welcomed us and instructed us to chooses any table of our liking indoors or outdoors. Our server came over to our table less than five minutes welcomed us and handed over the menus and took our drink orders. Came back with our drinks and proceeded to take our orders. Our server did inform us The corned beef hash is house made so one of us ordered that along with an omelette. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a roll with a side of breakfast potatoes. Our other guest order an everything bagel with eggs and cheese. Our food came out hot and fresh, the bread was so fresh! We all truly enjoyed our meal from the service to the atmosphere to the location and view. Will definitely be visiting again when in Cambridge.

🥓🍔☕️🍻The unsung upstate hero of Comfort Food! 🍳Breakfast is breakfast but BD’s omelettes are Michelin Star quality ✨seafood is shockingly fresh. ✨ bacon-wrapped scallops are to die for! Burgers are juicy and bodacious… ✨extra-man points if you down the 15oz in one sitting. ✨The salads are generous… dig on the antipasto with grilled chicken, enough for two meals. ✨& nothing beats a shot & a cold brew at the end of hard week. The Den is often packed & count your stars when it’s not. Beautiful view of the lake. Lovely old school chefs and waitress… if only the rest of the USofA could get a clue 🇺🇸

The last time I had been here was about ten years ago. It has changed completely, now with an outdoor patio and partially renovated interior with a much better bathroom setup. Almost everything is homemade, except the kids Mac and cheese, which is Kraft. I suggest throwing away all but one Kraft box. The rest of the food was very good, believably homemade. We had some small billing issues that were corrected easily, although, clarification from the wait staff about extra charges for substitutions would have helped prevent this. Overall it was a good experience and good food.
