Tonight we went to a new pub and grill to try out their fish fry.
I had a rye whiskey old fashioned diet sweet (trying to cut down on some sugars). It was muddled, strong and delicious.
For dinner we had the baked haddock, the 4 pc grilled shrimp and the deep fried haddock.
The baked haddock was two pieces of fish that were very lightly seasoned and slightly overcooked, but still good.
The 4 pieces of shrimp were seasoned very well and cooked perfectly.
The deep fried haddock is two pieces of fish and had a breading that seemed to be made with cornmeal. The breading was nicely seasoned and was very crispy. The fish was nice and flaky as well.
Our server, Brittany, was super nice and very attentive. She only works there one day a week (Fridays), and we would definitely recommend her.
Overall the food was good, the prices are a little steep for what you are getting though. Also the prices are different on the menu than what shows up on your bill. We tried to do the math on it to figure out why that is, but we still don’t know.
