Sawmill Saloon — Restaurant in Town of Lenroot

Where to begin. My fiance and I decided to come down for dinner, at 6:30 on a Sunday evening. We get in and the place is pretty quiet, sit at a booth and get our drinks, they've had Pepsi for the longest time so we ordered Pepsi, dude turns around, turns back and was like "wait, we used to have Pepsi,but now we only have coke" alright, so we get menus and waited for the waitress, she finally came over and my fiance got a lumberyard burger,(which says on the menu that sauteed mushrooms are on the burger, and caramelized onion if you ask, he asked for the onions) and I got the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich(which states blue cheese crumbles,lettuce, and tomato. I added bacon and pepper jack cheese) and an order of cheese curds. We got the curds 10 mins after ordering, and the place started to fill up a little bit. Another half hour or so we finally got our food, served with literally a hand full of fried. My fiance took a bite and opened his burger, there were a bunch of RAW RED ONION AND COLD NOT SAUTEED MUSHROOMS.he was furious and tossed his burger back on the plate, took off the onion. As he was doing that I noticed my Sandwich had blue cheese dressing (not just crumbles) and about the crumbles....there was 1... and that irritated me, it says crumbles, nothing about dressing, there's a big difference in flavor, we both ate maybe half of our sandwiches and suddenly the waitress comes up to us while we had fries in our mouth asking how everything was, didn't even give us a chance to swallow and start to complain, when she says "good" and walks away... we didn't even make an expression that it was good, she didn't give us a second to answer, she just answered for us and walked away. We had to ask for refills, which the one time both of us needed one, she filled on cup up and the other not even close, while mixing up our cups and everything, all I can say is that was not worth $32.76. I have never left a tip as low as the one I left tonight, we only left $33.00, why? The owner or manager could tell we were extremely furious, he kept looking at us, and when we went to go pay he disappeared, we wanted to talk to him. We ended up just putting our check and $ on the counter just as the waitress peeked out to say have a good night, and We left, never want to return again, and we are locals. Its pretty sad when your local customers get...

We have stopped in 2 times and both were not impressive with service.... They are way to slow with serving. The last time we will give this place a chance. We just figured it was a good place to stop and eat on the way to our camper since it always looked busy in driving by the parking lot.. Sat at the table for 30 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us to send us a server since it was Seat yourself type of place.... food is good but menu was small... We waited a while for our food both times and order 3 drinks for 1 person ahead of time since the server doesn't come back to see if your drink is empty and needs a refill.... server was rude.... the table next to us came in after we sat down or over 20 minutes being ignored and we ordered food WAY before them and their food came out 1st...??? My food was cold and baked potatoe not completely done my father inlaw had a burger and was not impressed..the server even took our plates before we were done eating... We won't be coming back or recommending this...

We left before ordering. What a terrible experience. We came in and had some drunk old lady scream at us... not the saloons fault. But then the ONE waitress looked annoyed and asked if we wanted a booth or table, told her booth, and then she left us standing there without telling us where to go. The bartender (I believe) finally came over and picked the plates and stuff off a booth, didn't wipe it down, and also left us standing there. We decided after standing to sit down at the booth. The waitress finally came around again with a handfull of drinks like she was ready to spill and asked us what we wanted to drink. I asked what they had on tap and she responded that it was on the back of the menu... and WALKED OFF... before I could show her it in fact was not on the back of my menu. We decided to screw that place and left to go have some amazing service and...
