Henry's Deli — Restaurant in Town of LeRoy

I very, very, rarely review anything, but after 1 bite, I knew this was a special place. I learned of this through a LeRoy ambulance crew. I ordered the Assorted Italian on the salty baguette just as I was told to do it, and it was incredible. The large will feed 2 people as I was stuffed after a half. The flavors together just work. I could write down many words to explain how great it was. The salty baguette really adds an amazing layer of amazingness I've never experienced before on a sub. I know of the bakery the baguette comes from and have had other breads they make. When a place goes out of their way to get a good roll you know they care about the flavor and other businesses. The service was extremely fast. I waited 5 minutes or less. Space to sit. Other products to look at.

I knew I needed to share the half I couldn't eat, and I did so with another medical professional. He right away texted me asking where this place is and giving me his outstanding approval of the sub.

I didn't try the desserts, but I did get a container of incredible Kalamata olives.

Overall, I'm very surprised to find this quality in LeRoy as I'm surprised by the Butter Meat Company in Perry. I'd think a place like this would exist in the hippie part of Buffalo or Rochester, but I'm thrilled it's in LeRoy.

While visiting family in Le Roy, NY, we wanted to try the new Henry's Deli after a much-anticipated wait. The owners, an engaged couple, displayed such positive passion for their high-quality food offerings. We ordered several sandwiches.

My mother-in-law's "small" sandwich was tasty on a delicious roll and large enough to feed two.

My wife's turkey wrap was wonderfully fresh.

My large roast beef, turkey and hard salami sub on their signature salty roll was the best darned sub I have ever eaten. It starts with the bread's freshness. It was firm yet soft to bite through. The meats were fantastic tasting - everything was so fresh. They call it a large but I, a hearty eater, was filled after half. Truly it could have fed four normal appetites.

It’s literally the cutest little spot with SO many goodies. From the obvious subs, to Italian cookies, to fresh pickles, to cinnamon rolls and freeze dried candy, there are so many options! The subs my fiance and I had tonight were 10/10 (and man, their rolls were SOO tasty!). We also snagged a chocolate covered cannoli, a big fluffy cream puff, and a strawberry cheesecake slice. So we’re basically set for 3 days based on how big these all were 😂

Did I mention the prices were extremely reasonable? 🥹

I love that this cute little business also supports other small businesses! Bringing a taste of Rochester’s best to LeRoy.
