The Heid Out Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Town of Lincoln

We were up in Eagle River from Milwaukee for a long weekend and The Heid Out was right down the street from our condo, so we gave it a shot! We tried to do a carry out order online, but the website said they were closed (which we knew wasn't true because there were a ton of cars outside). We called to place the order instead, and there was a bit of a back and forth with the person who answered about needing to use the online system, but eventually they agreed to take our order over the phone. Not a big deal, just kind of a weird situation.

Once we got there to pick it up, the staff was super friendly, and the owner introduced herself to us and thanked us for our business. The food was ready quickly, and she even helped us out the door with it as we had a good amount of items. The food was delicious, from fish fry to a chicken sandwich (and the duck wontons which were EXCELLENT). Overall, definitely a good experience and somewhere we'll be returning to when we come back up...

We ordered carry-out over the phone, and the pizza was ready when we picked it up. The service on the phone was very good, and they told me the pizza would be ready in 35 minutes. Which was perfect.

I am a thin crust Chicago Tavern Pizza fan, where I like a 'well done' crust. I asked the very nice lady over the phone if they could make sure the crust is crispy, and she knew exactly what I was talking about and said, yeah - sure.

The pizza was phenomenal. It was definitely a thin crust Chicago Tavern Pizza. My wife and I ate the whole pizza in 10 minutes. We are VERY happy in Eagle River right now.

We did carry-out, but the restaurant was busy for being 4:45pm on a week night, the inside looked very nice, the food on the tables in the dining area looked delicious, and the service was fast. The pizza cost was very reasonable. They don't take checks, but do take...

We have traveled from Arizona for the last four years to accommodate my Grandma’s birthday in Eagle River. Last year was our first visit to Heid Out… Boy did we rant and rave about them! We knew exactly what was on the agenda this time around. This year did not disappoint. Nevaeh was on point for a group of 14. No drink went dry and everyone received their food on time, not to mention she’s a doll. The owner was amazing and super appreciative. My 91yr old grandma has dietary needs which were accommodated as well. My mom is gluten free and hasn’t stopped complimenting their cauliflower pizza. Seriously could not be happier with our visit.
