Multiple wrong orders and attitude. 1st time: My husband and I ordered seafood alfredo without clams because I am allergic. We went to pick it up, got home and it was loaded with clams. Called and was asked what my symptoms were to clams. What?!! They "remade" our to go order and both my husband and I got really sick for two days. It took awhile for us to want to go back needless to say. Well, last night we did. Called in 2 orders of Seafood Alfredo, no clams for pick up. Got our food, went into the car and checked it to make sure it was correct. Nope, they gave us Seafood Medley, which is a oil/buttery mix. I went back in and the hostess apologized and brought it back to the cook who said he misread the order. She came back and told us he was fixing it and it would be about two minutes. (this already concerns me as to how you can make two fresh orders in two minutes?)...but, She comes back and I can see there is alfredo sauce, but it looked different. We open it up to check it and basically they added a slab of alfredo to the medley and microwaved it. The calamari was grey and rubbery, the shrimp were now shrunk and hard. We asked for the manager and told her what was going on. She told me they remade it fresh. I responded there was no way you can make a fresh batch in two minutes. I have made my own. I also can tell when something is fresh verses microwaved. I said you can see the oily butter sauce from the medley. She rolled her eyes at us and argued that it was fresh. My husband asked her to refund the meals and she continued over talking us with an attitude. My husband is a very patient man and we both work in customer service, but her attitude pushed us/him to tell her that she was very unprofessional. He asked for the owners email. She was snotty and said he doesn't have one. Really? This manager was horrible and a bad reflection to this business. The kitchen staff were screwing around the whole time we were dealing with this issue. There were 5 people sitting at the bar and two seperate couples at tables in the dining area, so it wasn't like they were swamped with orders. Ironically, another couple were upset and complaining about their food being wrong. Back to the manager, she said our card was refunded. My husband ask for the receipt and she snaps, I refunded it. You can check you bank account and see that it was refunded tomorrow and says "Anything else?!!" We told her no and that we would not be coming back. Read moreThis is the first time we've been to Luigi's in quite a while. We have gone there several times before while visiting our Daughter. In our past visits we thoroughly enjoyed it and thought the food was great thus the reason why we wanted to go there this time. However we were quite disappointed. Our server was nice but they were out of a lot of items. The server didn't know if they had their Angus burgers, they had no Alfredo or the ingredients to make it. They didn't have the ingredients to make the Mac n cheese. Our one Grandson settled for the fried chicken sandwich with hot sauce and ended up getting a grilled sandwich because they were out of the fried chicken and the server didn't tell us till she brought it to the table and said she hoped it was ok that he got the grilled one instead. I ordered a baked pasta dish with a meatball but got something totally different than what I ordered. I had to ask for the meatballs. They charged us for the more expensive dish even though it wasn't what I ordered plus they charged a 3 percent credit card fee. We thought that since they were out of most items and since we didn't get what we wanted at least one of the meals should have been comped but no offer was made. We will think twice...
Read moreWe ordered $65 worth of food tonight to be delivered. Food arrived and order was wrong. Instead of Baked Mostaccioli I received macaroni and cheese and garlic roll pieces. I called to let them know and was told to hold numerous times. Finally I was told they were too busy and would not be making my food. I told them I was on my way with their order and would be picking mine up. When I arrived the young lady told me that my order was correct but they had redone it for me. After rolling her eyes at me as she walked away. I reviewed what I had ordered and I did not get what I ordered. The new order was given and I left not happy. I called the manager back to inform her that this was terrible service and the second time they had given us bad food. I will never order from Luigis again and told the manager they could keep their $20 gift certificate. Terrible service! A customer should always get what they order but to refuse to replace it and tell me it was what I ordered is just totally unacceptable. Upon arriving home my husband told me to throw the food away. After reading some of the other reviews on line we just didn’t feel good about eating any of their food. Glad my boys at least got their food right. ...
