The Bear Brick — Restaurant in Town of Little Valley

We walked in about 4 pm. Ordered hot parmesan garlic wings, extra crispy for an appetizer (waited about 30 min). The sauce was more like a mild spiciness but the wings and sauce was delicious! These wings were meaty and juicy and had a nice crisp to them. For our entrees(10 min after our wings) we had a jalapeño burger and breakfast burger. Both were juicy and tasted like beef. The fries were delicious and crispy. The waitress/bartender was very friendly and accommodating! You can tell this is a local dive and there was lots of friendly banter and ball busting at the bar towards each of the locals. This didn’t bother us at all, just noticed it’s a well supported business. It was never directed at us and we were welcomed in. The food was delicious. The waitress that waited on us was amazing. BUT!!! The blonde server/ bartender was horrible!! I’m severely claustrophobic. The blonde worker closed the blinds by my table, I asked her to open them and explained why and that I will start to hyperventilate . She looked at me and said, so everyone else has to suffer because of your problem. I politely asked the tables around me if the open blinds were a problem, they all said no! I was thrown dirty looks from her my entire meal. I’m not a sensitive Sally. My waitress was appalled by what the blonde said and apologized up and down. A family came in by my table, she wasn’t very nice to them either. But when she was behind the bar I noticed all the men customers got great service. Ordered wings last night for a 5 pm pick up. It was game day with Buffalo in the play offs. So I knew they would be busy. On the e way to pick up our order, we had an emergency. I ended up having to send my mom to pick them up, which happened 30 min late. So by the time we actually ate the wings they had been sitting for over an hour and they were STILL the best wings around. Perfectly cooked, sauce was perfect. Absolutely delicious!
