Manny’s brings a touch of class to the Northwoods. The restaurant has been newly remodeled, therefore very clean. There’s an out side bar (yahoo) which is very fun with a stage and live entertainment. Other fun stuff like volleyball and horseshoe pits still under construction. The menu is like a breath of fresh air. If you’re looking for bar food, look elsewhere. With that being said….. get out your wallet because it doesn’t come by cheap, probably one of the highest priced as far as drinks I’ve come across and I’m a local. I do appreciate the out of the box thinking for this establishment not often found in our area, maybe others will follow and offer more of a selection as far as drinks, food items and atmosphere. I have been there twice, both times was a good experience. Well done Manny’s. One thing that needs improvement right out of the box is their reservation system which is all online. I tried to make adjustments to the reservation and was unsuccessful. It wasn’t clear as to why I couldn’t change it. I did call and left a message (which is all you can do) and someone did call me back a day later.

Had the pleasure to dine in at Mannys Parkside on a Friday for their fish fry. They had fish fry before but it was taken off the menu as they were trying new things before the busy season starts back up. I need to tell you, the NEW Friday fish fry is a must try. They have 3 simple options with Cod, Walleye, and Shrimp. I chose to do the traditional Cod and my niece got the Walleye. Again I must state that the fish fry they are doing is a complete 360 from the last and it is worth every penny. The cod was perfectly cooked, the portions were huge and everything was delectable. When the Walleye came out I literally thought it was 3 Beer Battered chicken thighs, the walleye portions were enormous. They also changed the fries to crinkle cut which adds another element and the coleslaw was also delish. The GM Heather came to the table to ensure our meal was up to standard along with the Chef himself. Lianna was our server and was on top of her game preparing for a busy season ahead. Last time I’ll say it but the NEW Fish Fry at Mannys hit it out of the park. Will absolutely be back again!

We walked in and sat at the bar for dinner Monday night. The place is beautiful. A spot was quickly cleared for us at the bar. Oddly, we were warned by another patron that it takes 15 minutes to get drinks at the bar, so we asked for service (verses waiting to be served) more than we normally would. Service was slow but not terrible. Nice drinks. We watched 2 glasses break during our time there. Operationally, it looked like a bit of a mess. The attached picture is what one piece of broccoli was in (I ate it before taking the picture) and that was considered part of the meal. When I said we were waiting for our broccoli our server looked at me funny and said, do you want more. Speechless. My stomach did not handle the fish well, which was honestly frickin’ delicious. I am not blaming the restaurant for getting sick as I am not clear why I was ill. My partner loved his food and felt great after. I would try Manny’s again and eat outside or in the restaurant with a reservation.

Tried Mannys last night and were wowed by this gem in the north woods. What a great place! The decor is modern and bright. We ate in a large screened in 3-season room with views of the park next door. They have an extensive menu and even a drink menu. My wife’s margarita was delicious and I tried two different old fashioneds. The classic bourbon is less sweet than a “purist” would enjoy but the extra orange really fit the bill. There are many appetizers but we settled on the deviled eggs and the Asiago cheese bread. The eggs are pickled but that isn’t very forward in their flavor. So don’t be afraid if you’re usually not a fan. The bread is fantastic! They serve it with butter and there is a cup of giardinera. It’s very mild so give it a try. I had the white chicken chili soup and it was not spice at all. No fear. It was delicious. My wife had a salad with a delicious house made dressing of honey mustard and poppy seed. We had the smoked meatloaf and the ribs. The flavor profile of the meatloaf was amazing. I loved it! It’s served on creamy mashed potatoes with fried onions and broccoli (cooked perfectly). The ribs were good. Not dry at all and just lightly seasoned. The bbq sauce on the side was very good. Not overpowering or spicy. The Mac n cheese was delicious! We did not even think about dessert as we were quite full but the couple next to us had a strawberry shortcake looking dish that looked great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. This is a fairly new restaurant (they are currently building an addition for more seating and live entertainment) so we gave the staff some well deserved grace even as they mixed up a couple things. No big deal at all. Be kind. I think Mannys will be a wonderful addition to the area. It was worth the drive and we...

First off, I want to say the location and venue is fantastic! It is a beautiful spot. However, this is my third time there and my wife's fourth. as we were still hopeful Manny's might get it together. But.... they don't. Our first experience was dry and overcooked meatloaf. But that was spring 2023 (Newly opened). My wife and a friend tried again a couple months later. Same. Food is not commensurate with location. We decided to give up on eating a meal there and tried to enjoy the outdoor area. Again, a beautiful setting. Just like a few weeks ago, we had slow service. But, she was a pleasant server and figured it was an anomaly. Yesterday, we tried again. We stopped at the bar and asked if we should order at the bar. We were told we could sit and a server would be right over. 5 minutes...... Nothing. We can see the manger walking around on her phone. My wife went to the bar to ask about service. We were assured our server would be over. 5 minutes later..... We got up and sat at the bar so we could at least get a drink. Still watching the manager surf the web...... Finally got the bartenders attention. Sorry, the "Signature Drink" I waited close to 15 minutes for was out. Seriously? We kept going back hoping Manny's would learn and grow. We love Manitowish Waters! However, management and young workers not paying attention to customers is a disappointment. Sadly, not sure we...

Completely wonderful experience!! The hostesses helped us find and situate seating in the bar so we did not have to wait over an hour to eat. The atmosphere was modern, comfortable and inviting. The lighting was neither inquisition level or so dim that the menu needs to be in braille; and the music was ambience- not noise to yell over. Natalya and Ryan, were so welcoming and friendly. Ryan suggested a modification to one of the craft mocktails, instead of my usual Vodka press, and it was so delicious that my dinnermates followed suit. After inquiring about her accent, Natalya shared her experience about how she arrived at Manny's from Jamacia. She was very straight-forward about all menu items. She is candid, friendly, smiles a lot, and works with joy! Almost everyone there looked like they truely enjoyed working there, and they all pitch in, including the chef, Alex, who surprised us with his honesty about how he prepared the delicious meals when we asked. And the meals...! They were amazing! The pistachio encrusted walleye melted in your mouth like sea bass. The shrimp scampi was a balance of delicious flavors over flat, thin and perfectly done pasta. The Primavera with shrimp showcased a pasta the size of thread smothered by delicious, deep roasted tomatoes. Overall, hands-down, the most delicious meals I have had in a long, long time. I will definitely be...
