Mamma Maria New York Pizzeria Marathon — Restaurant in Town of Marathon

Stopped in for dinner.Asked if we could eat in. Was told to take a seat. Not told you had to order at counter. placed order for two pizzas, ask if we could get side salad. Was told you could only order salad with dinner! Waited for pizzas , heard several comments to customers as they came in that their pizzas wasn't made correctly. We got 1 pizza brought to our table, was told they would bring out paper plates, never saw them. Second pizza was not made at the same time as the first. Finally got the second one about 20 mins after the first. Needed to get that one to go. A friend came in to pick up pizza, it was not ready and they had to wait a while for the take out pizza. When it arrived she was told they don't make pizza with extra cheese ,even though she was charged for extra cheese. Lots of people working but no one seemed to know what was going on. Second couple came in to sit and eat. Ghey ended up leaving. Pizza was good but not sure we will go back at least not for a while. Will see if you can make a go of it. Hope so but need to be more organized. More accommodating to...

Pizza is sometimes good, sometimes not. This most recent visit, both the CBR and the Buffalo pizza were not very flavorful. The pizza they put in for a warm up, they forgot about it was extra crispy and dried out. Pizza places can be warm, but this place was sweltering....87! Not the most comfortable dining in experience. As for the service, I was there 7/7 around 1pm. There were 3 people working, a younger girl out back who I didn't interact with and a gentleman in the front who was pleasant and even apologized for the crispy slice and asked if I wanted a new one....I said no, but on second thought I should've said yes. Lastly was the young lady working up front, she was definitely carrying a chip on her shoulder and was clearly not happy with her job. You could overhear her talking about customers, swearing and tossing stuff around....full of attitude because I wasn't speaking loud enough for her to hear, very unpleasant and completely not a customer friendly employee. We stopped here on the way home from Niagara. Im not sure who's writing the reviewsbut I didn't even get to try the food. We were greeted so coldly by the waitress. Who didn't even smile or say hello. The only thing she kept asking us is if we were going to stay or take something to go. There's no menu on the wall or take out menus nearby so we're couldn't even see what our choices were to see what was easier to do. I would just take a couplet of slices to go but they liked like they'd be sitting out forever and she didn't look like she was offering us different slices from another pie. The waitress kept rolling her eyes and talking back to the person behind her in a whisper. Definitely obvious they didn't want us in the place. We left and they couldn't care less. Im pretty sure they would have spit in our food. Found much better place a few exits down. Save your stomachs and go to Aiellos...WAY better...
