So I came in this morning with three other people who had been here before. It was my first time. The place was busy so we had to wait a little bit I think less the 15 minutes which is fine. However there were multiple tables empty and clean. We get sat and our drink orders and food orders were taken right away. We looked at the menues while waiting so we knew what we wanted. Our four meals came out at different times mind you three of us got the same meal. I ordered a side of hash because the people I was with said it was great mostly meat not many potatoes and cheap for the portion. Mine was almost no meat and mostly potatoes nowhere near 5 dollars worth. Very tasty though. However thats where it ended. When i finally got my food (I was the last served) it was incorrect. I sent it back it came back correct and ice cold but the plate was hot. I dont even know how that happens. One of us had to ask multiple times for the french toast that came with there meal. Service was so slow and we had to ask for coffee multiple times from multiple people. The people I was with were very surprised by things today. Plus someone at the table got a hair in there food. I may try it again in the future as everyone said they must be having an off day. If it had not been for people raving about this place I wiuld definitely never go back. But am willing to try it again once more before...

A new breakfast/lunch restaurant, the Milkhouse Diner, opened 7 months ago in our area. We decided to have breakfast there this morning. The results were mixed. On the positive side, my wife's frittata was very good and she raved about the home fries. I had a bite of the frittata and agreed that it was well seasoned and very tasty. On the negative side, I ordered a breakfast sandwich on wheat toast with American cheese, sausage, and an over-medium egg. When the sandwich arrived, I looked under the hood and found that the cheese had been omitted. The waitress quickly rectified that by a trip to the kitchen, but when I picked up the sandwich I discovered that the bottom slice of toast was wet. After taking a few bites, the soggy bread began to fall apart. I discarded it along with the newly-added melted cheese which was stuck to it, and I folded the remaining dry slice of toast into the shape of a hard taco to finish my sandwich. As a breakfast dessert, we shared one blueberry pancake with real maple syrup (an up charge of $2). The syrup was warm and delicious, and the pancake was good. We will give this place another try, but in the meantime, I prefer breakfast at the nearby Finally Ours Diner or Sunday brunch at the Lakeside...

My family and I ate here for breakfast. Being from the area, we had been eager and excited to try this new take on an old spot. The new owners did an amazing job with fully renovating the entire building. The diner is beautiful, clean and has a warm inviting atmosphere. The service is friendly, prompt and efficient. The menu offers a nice variety with some classic dishes. The food, is delicious. You can tell and taste they use fresh, good quality ingredients. I had their frittata, “The Kitchen Sink” and it was the absolute best. Highly...

Brunch inspired for you on this fine Saturday morning 🥞 I checked out The Milkhouse and I’m glad I did! Super fair prices, friendly service, and delicious food. What do you consider a good deal for brunch? P.S it’s a super peaceful drive from Syracuse. Close to apple picking country. You’ll drive past lovely farms and woods. I’ve been sick for over a week with a raging headache today. Figured I’d share a repost of this solid rec with updated price 😊 #marcellusny#upstateny#centralnewyork#brunch#breakfast#garbageplate#rochester #syracuseny
