Dear moon dance, I would like to formally apologize for diving past you all these years and never stopping. Today was a horrible, no good day. Like I needed to curl up on the couch with a blanket, watch a movie while eating pizza and sob. But here it is, 8:30pm on a Tuesday and every where I usually find solace in pizza is closed… so rude… like why would you do that to me… I needed you. Anyways, my husband knew that pizza could fix my life and that I was in a dire situation so he went on a search… that search brought him to you and I am FOREVER grateful. As I sit here eating the perfect crust to cheese ratio and ponder the meaning to life. I can not believe I drove past the most perfect pizza in all the land, all these years… “darn it Heather” I said to myself… and I knew it was me because I recognized my own voice. “You could have had this pizza sooner if you had just known” so like a good daughter/sister I sent a picture of this amazing pizza to my loving family, informing them of my life changing experience… only to find out THEY ALREADY KNEW!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????? why I ought to…. I digress. Fact of the matter is pizza from moon dance = pure unadulterated happiness and can fix the worstest of worse...

I consider myself a huge foodie and am spoiled in that I eat the best food living in Brooklyn, NY. I have no prob walking out of a restaurant that’s not up to my standards. As a Skan summer resident, I have driven by this place my whole life but never stepped foot in until this year when a fellow CBS colleague introduced us a few weeks ago. We have been back on average 3-4 nights a week for dinner. The food has not disappointed yet! I’ve been waiting for ‘taco’ night but got there too late and every variety was sold out! I know to call ahead on certain nights or order the ‘specials’ in advance. This place is seriously a diamond in the rough and answer to my summer prayers of getting great food that I don’t have to make myself nor pay a fortune for. ❤️...

It’s always been a great stop when out riding. Always looked forward to stopping there. But last nights experience with the bartender was the worse customer experience I’ve had. She made it very clear she didn’t want to speak to us, threw the menus down and pointed to the chicken wing selection. She acted as if we were not doing her any favor for being there. It was busy, but not extremely. Observing her with others, I was glad to see we weren’t the only ones getting served rudely.
