Our Place Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Minoqua

The young server that seated us was very sweet. Don’t expect any refill though (H2O). Bring your own H2O. Cheese omelette was KRAFT cheese; stuck to the roof of my mouth. Another server proceeded to tell me the cheese is cut daily…Maybe it’s not KRAFT cheese slice….(IDK) BUT if they really cut it daily it’s bottom of the barrel NASTY cheese. I’m in WI an expert amazing cheese. Also ordered a pancake. Which came out with something on top that looked like mold….. I informed another watriss of this and I was told it was cooked after a blueberry pancake….. That’s why it looks like mold. My husband can stomach things better than I and took one for the team and tried it…. He said it’s not mold but it’s not cooked and dough in the middle.🤮But no mold! Must be the blueberry pancakes cooked before… Hashbrowns came with my omelette and I asked for well done. They were kinda okay. Cooked on the outside but absolutely freezing raw on the inside. Toast also came with my meal-thank goodness-BEST THING I HAD…. The young server was very sweet and understanding. The other server kept making excuses for the terrible food. It’s not her fault though…. Don’t waist your time unless you just want a slice of toast…. Lastly I took all the left overs for my dog. He loves it. This restaurant should advertise for dog food. Stopped back into Our Place today, it was jammed pack, but was instantly acknowledged and service was phenomenal. The chef deserves a round of applause. He was able to keep up on a fully booked place and more waiting to sit down. The food is outstanding and cooked to perfection. Large portions of food and homemade biscuits and gravy.

Amazing Food! If you used to love Tula's Cafe by Trig's and you were bummed that they closed. Head to "Our Place"!! The corn beef hash is still as good as ever, sorry no photo. This is our second time visiting this cute soot. The café is a smaller place compared to the larger chain restaurants, but has room for lots of people. There are two dining rooms and a fun spot to sit at the counter. You are entertained throughout your whole meal by reading fun signs on the walls. (You have to go into the bathrooms for an extra special treat) LOL. The food choices are plentiful, the portions are hearty, and the food quality is good. More importantly, especially with the shortage of help everywhere, this cafe always has friendly greeters and servers. There is a large mix of people dining and it seems that everyone is welcome.
