Black Lake Hand-Dipped Ice Cream & Mini Golf — Restaurant in Town of Morristown

Searched this place and decided to take my son here to hang out for his birthday. What a bummer, I guess the website sold us at first. This place is too small for what we had in mind, no real shade in those hot small areas, and the girl who we spoke too was not very welcoming. The only thing I can say is the mini-golf was ok for what it’s worth. We left and didn’t try out anything else bc the area is very tiny. Also there is no longer a batting cage which is something else we looked forward too. I wish the site had mentioned that part, we would have never even drive that far. Terrible service in the ice cream department they messed up my order numerous times...it kinda seems like a ritual everytime I make an appearance there. However I had a change in heart when I struck a conversation with a humbling young man on a lawnmower named Kade Marshall who was a very kind gentleman. We talked about everything from basketball to grass seed. He just knows how to hold a conversation and was kind enough to trim around my cabin...

Great family fun. After playing, one get an ice cream or other frozen snack from the stand. They also have some hot foods too. Reasonable priced. Not much shade so be sure to have some head covering and a pair of shades. There is also Water Wars playing area for the family...
