Chan Fu — Restaurant in Town of Mount Hope

My family and I wanted chineese on this rainey night and the service was TERRIBLE. The lady and man were so rude! My husband ordered me sweet and sour chicken and asked for lo mein instead of rice. The lady rudely said “that’s going to be an extra 4.50” so then my husband told me what she said on the phone and he said he’ll talk to her when he gets down there because she might have misunderstood. He got down there and asked why he’s being charged the full price just to switch out the rice for the lo mein she said that’s just how it is....I’ve never been to a place that charges full price to swap out a side! Then my husband goes to pay and hands the guy his card and the guy took it and stared at him and said “uhhh that’ll be (my total)” my husband then said I just gave you my card! The food is okay but the people were EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! I won’t be back just...

Just a heads up, no seating here only take out or probably delivery(I only do take out so not sure about delivery).

Food is ok tasting although I had to update my review because I did a little more digging into the background of this restaurant and it seems they consistently have health violations, both critical and non critical (often the same violations which shows they simply don't care to fix them considering it's from simple to fix stuff like lack of access for proper cleaning and food storage issues, that can pose severe health risks), from health inspections. This, combined with how it looked in there, I can't help but say I don't feel safe eating there again(and won't be ), and that this place needs to be thoroughly reorganized and deep cleaned immediately if they care about good business and safe and sanitary food...

Bad experience not saying you will have the same but I did not appreciate trying to get my daughter and I something to eat tried calling with a credit card they told me they couldn't take it over the phone so I brought it into the business only to find out they didn't take it anyways so I couldn't even get all of my food my daughter's food was incorrect and I was told to walk down to an ATM to pull out money I'm not trying to spend an extra $6 in withdrawal fees on top of paying the amount that I had to pay for the two dishes if you are in town it is the only Chinese place in town so therefore yes it is the best in town but I personally did not have a very...
