Skinny Dave's — Restaurant in Town of Mountain

The band was awesome but as far as the bartender inside, he was very mean/rude. He didn't even know how to make an Old Fashioned. It tasted awful and I had to go back and tell him he needed to put some cherry juice in it. And then I asked if he even had cherries and he said no. I thought what kind of bar doesn't even have cherries.After adding the cherry juice then it did taste better.And he definitely was not one to gossip about anything. He even said so quite frighteningly. There were police outside and he said he knew why but he would not tell us. I did not feel comfortable even having to go back up to him and order another drink, but of course I did anyway. He had no sense of humor whatsoever you could not joke around with him. I would think for being a bartender you would want to be friendly and try and get tips, but I didn't even want to say two words to him. I don't think he was a people person and he should...

My best friend and I were vacationing in a cottage on Little Chute Pond for the week and we wanted to find a place to watch the Packer game. We looked up the closest bar to us and found Skinny Dave’s. What a great bar! It was the perfect place to watch the game. The people are super friendly, the drinks and food inexpensive, and my best friend Judy won three pools in a row for a total of $170!! A warning to non-smokers... if you are looking to watch a band in a smoke free environment, you won't get that here. They found a loophole in the smoking ban for the out building where the bands play.
