The waitstaff and the layout are nice, but that’s where it stopped for our experience. We tried to order three different drinks off the menu and were told they didn’t have the ingredients to make the drinks. Spinach artichoke dip is very oily, Parmesan fries were good. We ordered boneless chicken wings and were told to def order mild cause the sauce is spicy so we did. They came out more than spicy they were straight hot, like pure franks red hot on them. We asked to swap the order after attending to eat them after trying one bite and were told no, they would not take them back but could put in and pay for a new order and the old order. We ordered a salad and were told after that they did not have the full ingredients or the balsamic dressing that was on it. Order an Italiano panini which was supposed to come with a few different meats like salami and pepperoni and it was basically a salad in soggy bread with very little chunks of meat quartered up. (Picture below) While the place is nice outside we were swarmed by bees the whole time. We wanted to like the place but the quality of the food compared to the price charged was not close. The experience to take a bite of food and have it be so poor and bring it to the kitchen managers attention and be told it’s our fault instead of making it right was a disappointment.

Recently visited Anthony by Romo’s with some friends after hearing rave reviews since their opening. It definitely lived up to the hype. We decided to share some appetizers and two pizzas. Unless you really want an entree, I think ordering and sharing with the table is the best way to go. Here is what we ordered: Bad Burrata: cup n chat pepperoni, burrata cheese, Romano and hot honey King Cutlet: chicken cutlet, vodka sauce, Romano and fresh basil Fried Mozzarella Truffle Fries Espresso Martini The king cutlet was a grandmas style which I wasn’t familiar with. It’s a thin crust pan pizza and was sturdier than I was expecting. I normally like my espresso martini’s black but the one here was so good. Creamy but not overly sweet. The only thing I might not get again is the truffle fries. They didn’t have too much flavor and were dry.

i have been to Anthony’s twice now, here are my main take aways. •you will very much struggle to find parking. the parking situation is awful and both times i’ve seen people screaming at each other over parking spots. definitely needs to be fixed somehow. •you will wait for a table. likely 30+ minutes. •1st time our service was great, 2nd time our server was awful. she was unattentive, didn’t check up on us, left us with empty drinks, acted annoyed when we stopped her after she walked by numerous times and stared right at us with our cups at the end of the table. •the pizzas, to die for. the only thing that made our last trip (the worst of the two experiences) worth it. i would order take out but it probably wouldn’t taste as great on the 45 minute drive home. overall the food is great but i don’t suggest going if you’re in a rush.

Hmmm... I will have to think about returning to this place. Three young hostesses, one on the phone, 2 beside her talking. "Wait to be seated". Waited over 10 min to get their attention. We finally bypassed these "busy hostesses"? and seated ourselves (group of 3). Waited for 10+ min for server and over 30 min for 2 wines and 1 beer. We each were served the wrong wine! ×2. That was 4 plastic cups of a too sweet wine. Server was anxious to take our food order. Pizza was served hot and in a very timely fashion. We apparently were not fast enough to finish eating. With 2 pieces of pizza remaining, we were asked to leave so others could use the table. Server has worked there for 2 months. She apparently has not learned "service with a smile". I was not aware that this was a "Pub Crawl" day. We follow the band that was playing. We would have stayed and ordered more if the employees were a bit friendlier. The Server was going to bring the manager to our table, but that never happened. In the meantime a women and her small son approached us, asking if we would give up our table to them. They had been waiting 2 hours to be seated. I have NEVER been treated like this. If this place was not capable of handling the crowd, they need a...

I would definitely recommend going to the original Romos over going to Anthony's. Our server was very nice and seemed knowledgeable but he was incredibly soft-spoken in the very loud bar area. It was very difficult to hear him. We also did not appreciate the bar patrons hovering around the table. I think you missed the mark on the bar area. It's way too small to eat comfortably there. The food... Calamari was greasy and bland. Very disappointing but we took it home for the dogs. Dinner, was very good although the entrees were on the table along with the salad. I don't appreciate being that rushed. Perhaps because it was a rainy day and the outside wasn't open , the young staff seemed incredibly overwhelmed. We watched as the young lady cleared the table next to us and used what looked like "shop towels" as napkins.🤦 The people that were seated there were not too pleased with that. I understand it's the only place in town and I wish them well but they have to get their timing down and focus more on customer service. They should also check on their bathrooms a little more frequently. They were filthy. I would definitely recommend takeout. That seemed to be what they...
