Doesn't get any better than this! A must see top spot in the capital region and beyond. This place could use 5X the seating but then it'd lose that small town homey feel. One thing I'd mention is the very high attention to detail in the facility, the service, and especially the food. Also, they have Perry's ice cream, my favorite!

Here's a copy of the "OUR STORY" text found on the menu, worth a read.. " OUR STORY: Dylan Longton, a native of Albany, NY, and graduate(barely) of Voorheesville High School, embodies a diverse array of passions that have shaped his journey into entrepreneurship and community building. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant culture of the Capital Region, Longton developed a deep love for snowboarding, skateboarding, photography, and videography. However, his enduring passion has always been cooking-a talent that he cultivated from an early age. In 2022, Longton took a pivotal step in his culinary career by going live on TikTok. Update: based on a couple of recent experiences, it is now five stars across the board. I have been there twice when it was somewhat quieter and felt a lot less crowded. I’ve also experienced the small town feel with servers Cait and Rachel. Other issue with not having any substitutions for the potatoes was well taken care of today with a grilled tomato, but also fruit compote is available. Now gets five stars for the atmosphere for cooking eggs, exactly the way they were ordered and for the flexibility.

I was glad to see that the resurrection of this property seems to be a success based on the crowd that was there this morning. There were two distinguishing characteristics of the place for me….first the good service (thanks Nancy) and second that everyone gets their coffee in a different mug, all contributed by customers and fans. Other than that, breakfast was comparable to many other area places, and the prices also similar. We (appropriately) were gently asked to leave after sitting and talking over coffee for a long time. Again, happy to see the success. My one complaint is that I couldn’t back my chair up without hitting someone. Again an economic reality of a small space and great demand.

One big disappointment. Nothing to substitute for the breakfast potatoes. First place I’ve seen that had nothing to offer instead. Other places: grilled tomato, cottage cheese, fruit…..not here. A carb lovers dream.

It’s good. Nothing distinguishing to bring me back. Let’s see if the...

First of all, there isn't a lot of seating here, so if you're planning on dining between 9 and 12, definitely expect a wait, especially since the restaurant is hot and new. That said, the staff are very eager to get you seated as soon as a table opens up, so it's best to get your name placed on their list as you find parking.

Once my wife and I were buzzed in, we walked in to a table cleaned and pre-prepped with menus, stocked with a basket of jams and condiments. We ordered our coffee and got that first (the coffee was great, hot and fresh, no cream or sugar necessary). Our waitress, Stephanie, was very friendly and quick, and our food came out in no time, despite a packed restaurant.

The food was very good, a notch above your standard diner fare, in my opinion. My wife ordered the Bam sandwich, layers of sausage, bacon, egg, potatoes, and melted cheese between a warm hard roll. I ordered the hash breakfast, which came with homemade corned beef hash with a crispy brown crust, buttery scrambled eggs, and a side of perfectly seasoned potatoes. We finished everything.

We're certainly looking forward to our next visit to...

I came in solo, and was unsure as to if I was going to be able to dine in, as I was cutting it close to the closing time. Unfortunately with the road work, the roads are being milled before repaving causing slightly slower traffic, and was also on a motorcycle. But anyway, I came in ten mins or so before closing. I sat down at the counter/bar and asked if it was possible to even order, as I would understand, and was told of course. I quickly looked at the menu, ordered a cold brew coffee(black) chicken fried steak, and I always try the hash at least once. The food came out surprisingly quick. The chicken fried steak, is the best I've had. I am sorry to say, not to be negative the hash was a bit dry,but still very good. I paired the gravy from the steak with the hash. Had great small talk with the server, and the local gentlemen that was next to me. I can understand if any size group visits there could be a bit of a wait. But the food and the service is a reason to wait. Such an amazing quaint local dinner that can cater to out of towners. This will be a Destination for me time and time again.
