Mamma Mia! Cafe & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of New Windsor

Yall. Ordered half Classico, half eggplant. Specifically said “make crust extra crispy”. DOUGH was mushy and raw in some places. The Classico has mushrooms, sausage, bacon, roasted garlic. Well, SHOULD. ZERO BACON maybe 3 slices of mushroom and half of a sausage sliced long way. I called to explain and was “disconnected”. Then called back, the girl said “you weren’t speaking to me you were speaking to mumbles name that sounded like Emily. Tells me hold on and LEFT me on hold. Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Also ordered panini & Italian combo. I’ll let you know if hubby eats it for dinner & lunch tomorrow while on duty or throws it out….UPDATE**. The owner says I called his 15 year old niece “yelling” at her. I never raised my voice, not one time. As I have catered (still do) and worked in my father’s deli as well as Pizza places in East Fishkill, Wappingers & Fishkill…I would not do that. My voice was not raised, I was hung up on, and upon calling back was placed on hold for over 7 minutes & figured they just did not want to speak to me. Not acceptable. However, I would NOT raise my voice to the servers/waitstaff, etc having been in (being in) the business. Not sure who told them I did this, but THEY were dismissive. You do you. And, I can appreciate working in the heat, which is why, though it was PICKUP, I left a healthy tip. But not one time was I...

All time favorite place to go eat, they have everything you could ask for and specials that are well thought out and super tasty. If you live in the area, you can probably tell right away that there are so many pizza spots around, my friends and I have gone to every single place trying to find the best slice and the best price to go with it… Mamma mias has all the pizza places around beat! IMO. No joke! The owners, Pili and Mike, are great people who seem to care deeply about their customers satisfaction - they are quick, helpful, witty, and kind… I cant name a better place to get a meal. Not only are the owners awesome but so are their work staff - the cooks are wonderful and go above and beyond. The counter workers are friendly and make you feel at home. If you decide to go here I recommend the loaded cheese fries, the pizza 100%, chicken franchese, salads, eggplant panini/hero, oh and their chicken cutlets are my most favorite favorite thing… seriously they have it all and it’s...

The team over at Mamma Mia always goes above and beyond. On my wife's birthday a few weeks ago we ordered delivery from here, one of our local favorites. We had just gotten home from a long, exhausting travel day and she wanted something we know to be consistently great. When the order arrived, it was missing a full pizza and 2 desserts. The delivery person (from a delivery app, not affiliated with Mamma Mia) told us they were not given a pizza or desserts with the rest of the order, which turned out to not be true. After calling Mamma Mia, they not only fixed the situation by driving over the pizza and desserts free of charge, but one of the owners dropped them off, with a bonus birthday dessert as an apology for the inconvenience. It was totally unnecessary since we understood the mixup, but it made for a great birthday treat.
