Blind Pig NW (Northwoods) — Restaurant in Town of Newbold

We stopped in for tacos for Taco Tuesday. We were very disappointed! They were busy that night, we understand but, after an hour from when we placed our order, still no tacos . This was their special for the night. How long does it take to make 4 tacos when all you have to do is put it together. We cancelled our order after an hour and left. At 50 minutes, the bartender stated we would have our order in two minutes, but no luck. From where we were sitting we could see the cook. While we were walking for our order he was eating and did not sanitize his hands . Also ,was handling food with out gloves. We have been happy with the food before. We will not be returning here to eat. It would have been helpful if the bartender had said the cook was running behind. Or offered to take something off the bill or a free drink.

Wondering what the Oneida Health Dept. would have to say if they had witnessed...

Small town flavor. Very good food. Friendly bartender during the day. Kitchen cooks it the way you order it and even came and checked I was satisfied.

Don't mess with a good thing...EXCEPT WHEN ITS BETTER!

Excellent bar food. I like hamburgers that don't co.e frozen out of a bag....these are good and the kitchen actually listens!

Many times the owner is there. ASK HIM ABOUT THE BOXING RING BELL BEHIND THE BAR!

New look New attitude which is good...all while keeping the feel of a hometown watering hole.

Atmosphere changes from quiet local bar to Hotspot that is a must be at place! People keep coming so they are doing something right! They have cars and trucks lined up out front while other places are empty.

Owner is building a Soundstage outside for bands

Don't forget water access in the summer and snowmobile access in the winter.

Not busy at time we ate there. Did not know ownership had changed and was disappointed when told they no longer served the “taz” sandwich. New menu pretty basic, nothing looked too spectacular. I ordered the Italian sausage w/peppers and onion, everyone else had a burger and fries. My sandwich for 11.00 was very disappointing. Small piece of what looked like a brat but tasted like sawdust, Not what I expected. The burgers were all overcooked and dry. The French fries,surprisingly were good, no complaint there. Probably won’t go back, have to admit, the one glass of beer that I had was...
