A beautiful area with lots of boat dock space. There's a little beach to play in and nice volleyball courts. The rum buckets are a great deal! I also enjoyed the cheese curds, and the pulled pork was a good value. The only downfall was it was a little slow at the bar with only one bartender during a busy holiday weekend.

Great food. Between us, we have shrimp and wings and burgers and fries, etc.

Sometimes change is good- but that cannot be said at all for this establishment. New owners clearly do not have any handle on what it takes to own a northwoods restaurant/bar. Out of standard fish fry by 7pm on a Friday in the definite offseason from vacationers. Very difficult to wave down service— drinks all taken one by one instead of as a group. Plastic chinsy silverware packets. Eliminated some of the best out of the previous menu including the potato pancakes and some of the burger selection. Perch was minimally passable at best— half of the fish had pockets of pasty breading, was fragmented in multiple pieces, and fish was not checked for bones as one member of our party had three bones across two of the pieces. As locals we will NEVER be returning under current ownership and management and will actively dissuade others that might ask as to not waste their time on a business that no longer deserves it under incompetent and/or negligent ownership. Sprucing up an interior and doing horrendously poor on service and food leaves little confidence this place will improve. We will not waste our money and...

Absolutely ridiculous. I waited 45 minutes for onion rings they said would “be out in a minute" and 2 pizzas. Nobody checked on anything until a regular customer took pity and asked for me — only then did someone suddenly realize my food had been sitting there. His response? “Yeah, and so are your pizzas.” One pizza and the rings were cold. He tossed the rings back in the fryer like that made it okay. The bartenders were painfully slow — apparently only capable of making one drink at a time, even if it’s two of the exact same thing. To top it off, I stupidly tipped 30% because you’re forced to pay before you figure out how much this place sucks. With the massive Hodag festival about to start in three days, it’s a joke that they’re this unprepared. They clearly don’t have enough staff and definitely no one competent managing the place. Hodag campers — do yourselves a favor and go...

Owners have many businesses but no clue what restaurants are actually like and got rid of an extremely loyal local (Katie), who knew the crowd and was going above and beyond to boost business to this establishment with owners actively fighting her the entire time. They also love to block anyone on Facebook who MIGHT disagree with them before they even do or who criticizes the questionable decisions or tries to suggest things to do to actually invite the community back instead of driving them away. Feel bad for all the people who have loved this establishment for years and have to watch it go down the drain based on their poor decisions and hoping the next owners will have...
