Maisies Qwik Stop Deli — Restaurant in Town of Newburgh

If I could give ZERO I would. I called in an order, they apparently use grubhub to take some phone orders because they're "too busy" when I arrive the woman says no we have no orders. And the deli is closed(closed at 4.. its 4:12) So I said we'll I'm here can you just make the order, no! BuT if I refresh my grubhub and it's there I'll make the sandwiches.. ok What is the difference really? She checks and the person made the order for Tomorrow.. I said ok well obviously that's on grubhub I didn't order for tomorrow and show up today on accident for an orde I made 20 min ago.. then she tells that id have to pay their price instead of grubhubs, ok no big deal im here for the sandwiches.. then it changes to oh they threw the bread already.. so how where you going to make the sandwiches if yhe order was 100% correct. She keeps just going back to it was ordered for tomorrow, which I understand but you choose to have a phone service, not me.. also how were EVER going to make the sandwiches if the bread was thrown out 13 min ago.. will never set foot...

My girlfriend called and placed an order of a bacon, egg and cheese with salt pepper, ketchup, hotsauce and a BLT on a roll with mayo. After driving back home we discovered that all the condiments that were supposed to be on the BEC were on the BLT. We called to inform the deli that our order was messed up. They offered to make another sandwich but we were passing thru the area and it wasn't possible to drive back. They refused to give us a refund, got rude on the phone and even tried to gaslight us like it was our fault. Even when we placed the order he repeated it back to ensure it was correct and it was still wrong. The bacon also tasted like it was cheap microwave bacon. I will NEVER come back here and warn anyone else from coming here. I asked him "what if my girlfriend was allergic to the condiments you put on the sandwich?". He replied with "thats not my problem" and after a few exchanged words we hung up. Do yourselves a favor and save your money for a real deli with...

The onion rings were good, but that's just a novelty side dish. They accommodated me with substituting a kaiser roll instead of sesame seed, as those don't sit well with me. But no gluten free. 👎 The burger was literally COLD. The cheese was melted, and it appeared cooked, but seemed like it had been left sitting out for an EXTENDED period of time. I was too tired and hungry to go back in and complain, as the workers seemed complacent at best; I didn't think I would get a good response. I could only stomach half the meat, throwing away the rest, and the portion I ate made me sick. Disappointed that this place is run so poorly. I will certainly not be returning. The price was okay, but I really should have gotten my money back if I wasn't too tired to bother. Big thumbs...
