New York Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Newport

We ordered from here recently, the sauce on the pizza was very good and had quite a bit of flavor. The wings were doused in an adequate amount of sauce and also tasted really good. The prices are similar to other local pizzerias BUT they also include more wings so look closely at what you’re ordering because I had been trying to decide which place to order from and settled on trying this one out bc I’d get more food for my money. What was once the best pizza around, is now a sad excuse. The new owner consistently closes the doors and blames everyone else for the inconvenience. The weather, high school employees, feeling slightly butt hurt etc. Refusing service to family members that have offended them. Goes as far as to block the truthful comments on social media. Let's all stop giving a buddy pat on the back and be honest. The food is way below par. And who knows if you can depend on them even being open. I can't believe they have remained open this long. This will always be one of my favorites!! As a kid, I remember doing movie night with my parents and little sisters and Pete's was the only one who would deliver to our house in the middle of nowhere 😂 their pizza and wings are seriously so good!! I'm always surprised that the price is actually reasonable. Even if you only want a couple slices, it's delicious and if you only have a couple dollars you can still get at least a slice.
