I normally try not to give negative reviews. However, every experience I've had with Tim Hortons has been subpar. Not completely terrible, but not good enough for me to recommend them to anyone. To start, it's tough to find a time or location when the line inside or in the drive-through doesn't cause a delay in my day. I guess there are a lot of people that love them, just not me. Secondly, the kids that work at every location apparently don't even know how to smile, much less be polite. I am generalizing here, but that's been my experience. Maybe it's the age group or lack of parental direction, but that's another soap box. Third, I hate receiving my frosting covered doughnuts in bags stuck together where you can't remove one without losing frosting. WTH Timmy Ho, always put the Boston Creams in a box. Fourth, why can't you put the entire order in one bag. Who's idea is it to hand every individual item to the customer, separately. If I order 2 breakfast sandwiches, hash browms, and a couple of muffins, put them all in one master bag. I don't want all of that sitting in my cars passenger seat or have to juggle it all along with the coffee into the office or home. And, lastly, your coffee sucks. I know a lot of people love it but not me.
P.S. I know I said that was the last one, but there's one more thing. As someone who is always on the lookout for a low-carb meal, having the option to order one of your sandwiches without a bun would be a nice change. It may sound strange to some, but more people need this than you might think. I tried it once at one Tim Hortons, and the best they could come up with is putting all the ingredients in a cup. It didn't work out very well. A better choice would have been a single doughnut box served with a plastic knife and fork. Just food for thought...
Read moreAfter I ordered and then pay for two Carmel Lattes one with an extra Shot Of espresso” I tried to taste check my coffee before I drove off but it was extremely too hot - to find out that what was made for me was an extremely hot cup of water and milk and a dash of coffee!!! The the other cup as you can see to the right had no coffee!! Yuk!! We didn’t discover until 6 miles down the road and then when we pulled the lids back this is what we saw!! I was so upset because I really needed that cup of Joe for my morning to get going—- but we all make mistakes and I get it but, The real reason why I wanted to share this is because the African-American lady with the spider Lashes helping me at the at the speaker and then at the window was so rude in her customer service. No hello no smiles no greetings no sympathy for my wrongly made coffee.. She did give me a A courtesy after I explain to her why would you still make me pay and I just drove all the way back over here- .. we didn’t drink that drink that you made yesterday— I may have called the wrong Tim Hortons about the order, but she could see that I had return the next day. She was so unfriendly and so unkind.. I guess people don’t really care anymore- about who they are hiring to help run their businesses-Some people should take different jobs if they don’t really like helping people- and don’t really know how to make coffee drinks..
Always check your whole order before you drive all the way off!!!!
Sincerely, very disappointing...
Read moreMy second day of using Tim Horton's while visiting my son, I ordered a meal and a toasted bagel with cream cheese and an extra coffee. When I got back to where my wife was, I found the Tim Horton's associate had shorted me the bagel, which was for my wife. Approximately 1-1/2 hours later I went back to Tim Horton's as I was heading to Home Depot to order food for my son and daughter-in-law. I told the associate about being shorted the bagel and that I wanted to get it at this time. I then asked to make the bagel a cinnamon raisin bagel. She said "I already entered it as a plain bagel" (with attitude unnecessary especially at that time in the morning and given the mistake was due to the Tim Horton's associate) I then said "Well, then push the buttons to change it). When the gentleman attending the window gave me the food (he was very courteous and apologetic), the female attending the order speaker made a point to move near the window. I checked the order over this time, and she gave me a snotty. "It's all in there!" I commented."I could do without the attitude! It was your mistake, not mine!" I absolutely love Tim Horton's coffee and have tried making it at home. However, it never tastes the same. We don't have a Tim Horton's where I live. The closest one is in Tawas, Michigan, approximately 2 hours away. I look forward to getting coffee when I travel. I have never had any employee treat me like that. It was totally...
